Great review! I plan to connect a WiiM Ultra to it, so I don't need too many features. Beyond that, I didn't see it mentioned on the company's website that a mono trigger cable is included in the package.

The WiiM amps perform incredibly well for their price bracket and well into the next. They are, however, a little limited with higher end speakers and they simply cannot match traditional class AB amplification from the likes of Naim, Rotel etc. They are a spectacular budget option but will hit their limitations quickly if you upgrade without considering how you match your kit very carefully.

Great review. I like mine. Run the ultra into it. A audio techna into that. I really want to run two of these amps and mono them. My rp-6000m 2 are really efficient but it just sounds flat. I turned off some of the auto features. That helped. I haven't figured out of room correction and parametric are two different things lol. That's on me. I haven't locked in what I prefer rca vs optical. I also don't know how to change the gain for my turntable. I can easily max the volume level out and it's barely a problem for the neighbors.

I am using the Vibelink with the WiiM Ultra. Both replacing my Rega Elicit Mk5 which cost 2,5x But the Wiim Setup still sounds better to me 🫶🏻

Wiim amps do sound premium with some speakers (mostly easily driven speakers). 4 Ohm speakers are not good combo with them. I'm speaking from experience. I've had Wiim Amp Ultra and Vibelink  at the same time. I've tested them with Dali Opticon 2, Dali Rubicon 2 and Monitor Audio Bronze. With Dali speakers those amps sound absolutely horrible but they sound excellent with Bronze. I've used Denon AB amp with Dali speakers and they sound phenomenal so the speakers are not the problem, the combination of speakers and amp is the problem. Also, Triangle speakers are good match for Wiim amps.

Recently picked one up for my home office setup and really liking it. I’m using the Vibelink with a Wiim Ultra streamer/preamp, into Kef LS50s with a Perlisten R8s subwoofer. For different flavors, i run the Wiim Ultra directly in Vibelink via optical, but also Wiim Ultra out over USB into Schiit Mimir DAC, and Mimir into the Vibelink’s analogue input.  Using the mimir’s dual analogue outputs this also lets me run into a Schiit Valhalla 2 headphone amp. Perfect setup for an office! Great to also have HDMI ARC on the ultra, for my 42” LG C2 oled used as PC monitor+tv

Not really fair stacking a $270 Fosi BT20A Max against a $1800 WiiM Ultra. For that price it better be good!

Sounds like crap on my JBL 4325's.  Not happy with it.

PC is a a street party while Mac is a dinner party

The specifications on these amps are overblown, they have tiny power supplies and limited current. They are for budget systems only, better off with a proper class A/B amp, far better sound.
