The Arylic LA50 is 50W into 4 ohms / 30W into 8 ohms - plenty for modest rooms at moderate levels, in a smaller box than the WiiM Amp Ultra with no display, just a light bar.
Standout is the DSP bass extender in the Arylic app. With compact speakers and no sub, it does an amazing job making them sound deeper and fuller - I missed it when I switched back to the WiiM Amp Ultra. EQ implementation is also excellent and very usable.
Trade-offs: subwoofer controls are very limited if you add a sub, and my unit stuttered regularly on CD-quality playback even hard-wired via ethernet. I don't penalise it for the initial WiFi connection issue as that can be network-related, but the wired stuttering is significant. The WiiM Amp Ultra at $529 plays everything without stuttering, with larger soundstage, better separation / imaging focus, and slightly better resolution, plus display and manual EQ.
Best case for LA50: compact speakers, no sub wanted, moderate levels, where that bass extender replaces a subwoofer.
