thats gotta be the calmest reaction ive seen to the 17 second scream haha

Leave Out All The Rest just feels like foreshadowing of Chester's end. Definitely hits differently after his passing.

this was their third studio album in 2007, chester died in 2017 with his last album being "one more light", it breaks me every time i listen to it

YOOO I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE. MTM is my personal favorite album. Really underrated especially since Hybrid Theory and Meteora get all the hype.

The No Roads left track is not Chester btw.
The one singing is Mike shinoda. The dude you always hear on rap parts or hands held high

Mike Shinoda, the rapper (who also sings a lot), is the mastermind behind LP's material. He writes almost all lyrics (often with input from other members) and music, and has even produced a lot of their material.

By the way, the bonus song "No Roads Left", that's Mike singing!

Bleed It Out is such a banger.

Wow, that's the first time I saw anyone react to "Given Up" and be so into the instrumentation that they missed the 17 second scream entirely.

I LOVE MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT AAA

54:35 thats because Mike Shinoda who raps also does sing too, like that one and In Between.

The last two songs you listened to were bonus tracks that were not in the original release at all. You'll love the future albums since they switch up even more than this lol. The next one is a full on experimental concept album about nuclear war.

Minutes to Midnight has an atmosphere I can't describe. The whole thing feels like being at the mercy of the wretchedness of life an coming victorious despite all odds. Wake is like a brand new day or as someone else said a dream before the waking nightmare which is Given Up. I love how painfully miserable In Between sounds an then there's other songs on the album like Shadow of the Day an In Pieces which both have a similar theme of embracing something broken to return some sort of salvation.

I can almost guarantee you that What I've Done is giving you nostalgia because of Transformers.  You may not realize it but this is the theme song to that movie

If you like the switch up, you might love the next album, A Thousand Suns. You have to listen to it as a whole album

Linkin Park's most remembered more for their Hybrid Theory and Meteora sound, but they have so much more to them then just that. Every album after this will be a different style, and personally my favorite of theirs is up next: A Thousand Suns

MTM is such a great album...my absolute favorite is The Little Things Give You Away, when i heard that solo i was like "this is my favorite no doubt" another personal favorite of mine is from their new album From Zero and its Overflow, that song just hits so hard, cannot wait until you react to it!!! 🥹❤️

"In piece" is one of my favourite song ever too 🤘

In pieces is fire 🔥

Please don’t stop with this album! You have to listen to all their albums. Their next album A Thousand Suns is a concept album about nuclear war. It’s very very different than what you know by them, but it’s a masterpiece
