On 31 August 2026, an era on the Danish railways came to an end. After more than 23 years with first Arriva and later GoCollective operating regional trains in Central and Western Jutland, as well as on the Svendborg Line, the chapter is now closed.
From 1 September, DSB took over DSB Vores Tog. But the trains, employees and timetables are not disappearing. For passengers, tomorrow will actually look almost exactly like the day before.
But how did we get here?
Thanks to @SimonTog for letting me use footage of a Desiro train on the Thy Line.
Thanks to @Henrikrail for letting me use footage of MR trains in DSB and Arriva liveries.
