That being said. if you don't follow my man Ramon Montagner on his socials you're definitely missing out on one of the most BADASS drummers i've ever seen in my entire life.

I love when the internet makes the right people famous. You deserve everything that has come to you.

The guy was affraid if they steal his drum sticks during the gig so he uses all of them at the same time.

Hilarious seeing Estepario experiencing what casual drummers feel seeing him drum. 😂
Awesome vid. Subbed to Ramon’s channel.

My favorite thing about this dude is how humble he is when confronted by others of high skill. Nothing but praise... its really nice to see people sending up each other, with the world as crazy as it has been 😆

He is using the marimba mallet technique on the drums. When you play marimba with 4 mallets, you do what he is doing. He is doing something amazing as adapting that technique to drums is not usual.

He has nearly 50 videos on his youtube channel titled "Dual Grip Under Construction" and if you watch those closely you can a good idea at the mechanics of this technique. It's definitely difficult, but absolutely doable with practice and the right stick size.

I think he has some classical percussion background, maybe he plays mallet instruments.

@toxiecrusader5323 3 months ago

If he used 6 sticks we could call him the wolverine

Mallet percussionists and drummers blown away for totally different reasons. ❤

Dave Weckl recommended Ramon Montagner to me during an online lesson when I asked him about advanced one handed techniques. Imagine that!
Amazing he’s finally getting the viral recognition he deserves ❤🎉❤

Ramon is a special drummer. Deserves much more views.

El, I would bet a small fortune that in the near future you will post a video showcasing your mastery with four sticks. Your skills are just ridiculous. Having humility, in equal measure, is rare and fantastic to witness, on all fronts. I salute you. We really appreciate what you do.

The very last thing you mentioned is definitely what is most often overlooked. His feel is incredible. Doing all of this shit is impressive. Doing it all while sounding like that is fucking illegal.

Ramons push pull is unbelievable. Even when the video is slowed down, you can see its the standard technique but with articulation and accents in a one handed roll
