when I had a shaved head it pissed men off soooooo bad lmfao. People acted like I had done something irreversible and insane. it's literally just hair it grows back!!!! now my hair is down to my butt. whenever people comment on how they prefer me with long hair it makes me want the buzzcut back

As I said before, pretty girls are even prettier with short hair.

on the topic of views being down: this year in particular, my budget has been tighter so i can't spend as much on clothes so i've been avoiding a lot of the fashion content that i loved because i dont want to be tempted to spend money that i don't have- has nothing to do with your cute ass hair <3

WTF!? Unfallowing someone because of their hair is like unfollowing them because they gain or lose weight. It baffles me.

have never gotten more compliments on my hair than i have with a pixie and i loveeee it

The hat point is wild to me! I lovveeee a hat with a pixie. So cute

I’ve cried over bad haircuts but you’re bad haircuts won’t ruin ur life or honestly noticeable impact it much. You’re right, just wear a hat

Something I didn't quite realize when I got my pixie cut was how it would feel being a woman who doesn't wear make up and has quite sharp, almost masculine, features. On top of that, I don't dress very feminine. In my profile pic you can see my hair being a bit longer, but I cut it short short before that. With the pixie cut, I felt like I was lacking femininity in a way. I felt very boyish. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but maybe something to be aware of. With a short haircut, you might want to wear more make up or jewelry of feminine clothes to balance it out.

I feel like you have very “feminin“ features (oval face, full lips, almond eyes) so a “masculine“ haircut just works better for you, because you dont have to do much to look like woman should look according to society. I had a pixie (my face is quite angular) and  I felt i had to perform my femininity more than before (as an example with more make up)

Me watching this video after getting a pixie cut two weeks ago 👁️👄👁️

I’ve had my pixie cut since Jan. I was tired of maintaining my 4c hair. I absolutely love how easy and stylish it is, but like you said I do miss hairstyles like braids and hair accessories

Gamines look amazing in pixies! Totally compliments your features.

Haircut hack: try a beauty school! 💇‍♀️ Students cut your hair for under $20 (wash, blow dry, style included) and teachers supervise, so you still get a great cut. Only catch—it can take a little longer, but totally worth the savings.

I hate how I look in a slick back, so good to know 😂

Sad to hear about people unfollowing because of the pixie cut but I've honestly seen the wildest opinions when it comes to pixie cuts. One annoyed me pretty bad, this woman was basically saying how a pixie gives off the idea that the person is sick... When like... Are we thinking that about men? We aren't, so why is it any different for a woman. And then unfortunately some people think that pixies are "less feminine" (also istg this woman had some wilder takes about pixies but I can't remember them😭they were so bad I had to erase them from my mind. I do think she had a pixie herself though, I think a lot of it was internalized misogyny because she also thought that pixies would make the person look older because only older women should have pixies or something)
Also I feel like I should add that the idea that people need a haircut that suits their face is mostly bs, because that was always pushed for women but never men. Every year there will be articles directed at women that are basically discussing whether their features will look good with a bob or if it will ruin their life (but you hardly see that for men). Why are we being told we have to obsess over all these details...

I’ve never contemplated getting a pixie cut (although I’ve done a bob) and your ending comment made me realize I likely never should. I LOVE volume in my hair. Even with slick backs being trendy the past few years, I haven’t done it once. I’ve never used or owned gel. I could never sacrifice my love for volume. I definitely see how a pixie cut would suit people who do slick their hair!

I had a pixie for years. I truly feel the point about needing haircuts often, I always ended up with a shaggy hairstyle w grown out bangs bc I couldn’t afford the regular maintenance. I still recommend everyone try it at some point if they’re curious, it does just grow back and I think you will learn a lot about how you see yourself/your femininity/etc

I had to get a pixie cut because I over bleached my hair and I thought I was going to hate it, and I like it more than when it was down my chin or had a short shag, it's so easy and fun to style and dries so fast. It's funny how people always say you have to have a certain face for it but that's so not true! because men have short hair and it's fine, anyone can!

love this video! your pixie cut inspired me to get a pixie cut again. and I made sure this time to get it cut in such a way that I don't have to style it. Its honestly really nice and easy, but yes the amount of haircuts I had to get was getting out of control so now i'm growing it back out. When I tell you i received more compliments from women about my haircut than i ever have in my life the first couple of months i got my pixie cut, i was shocked. I also became invisible to men. so i felt like i had a superpower

I like my pixie with a hat. It's one reason I went pixie instead of bob. Agree with the number of haircuts being annoying, but other than that - love it
