The Flea, who is now sixty-three, still has the enthusiasm of a teenager, and I truly admire his tremendous love for all genres of music.

0:26 - "It'd be too vvvvwoooo.I'd be like buckida-buckida-buckida-buckida 'n bzz-vvvwoooo." Truer words have never been spoken.

Only Rick lets the artists speak without interruption, the best interviewer out there. Love your work!

Flea is like a human 90s skateboard.
He's absolutely awesome

Flea... Such an alive, plugged in dude, with such grace, and humility, and yes, self-doubt

What an amazing musician. You don’t need to like the Chili Peppers to recognize and/or like Flea’s enormous gift and talent. He’s one of the very best.

I met Flea in Hollywood - Indian restaurant. He was doing an interview and my band was in town to showcase - ‘95 We were the only people in there and he came over to us and asked who we were and what we were doing - great guy.

I'm 51 years old, served 24 years in the military and am now starting a band that will start gigging in and around Austin, TX in April or May. I am excited to get back to playing live again.

Best quote... "I'm not tapped in, but I'm down" ... said it in passing, and I missed it in the big interview

I loved him as Dieter, one of the German nihilists, in the Big Lebowski.

I have been a gigging musician for over 50 years, and it never ceases to amaze me...how do I want to put this... you listen RHCP's and know yeah! These guys can rock! Then you see interviews like this and find out that they did the work. They didn't get good by accident, if you know what I mean. So much respect for players like Flea!
