I like how doomguy has himself a strict policy of doing almost the exact opposite of what Hayden tells him to do

“So uh... I noticed your objective on your hud is to destroy the sphere, not take it.”
The intern is fucking awesome

The single scene of the Slayer taking the Key perfectly describes him.
(tries to use brute force to take key)
Key has a force field around it
( More brute force! )

You know, this whole time, the Slayer is probably thinking that he finally met someone not terrified of him.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the amount of balls the Intern has to help the doom guy and not even look scared to shit?

The dark lord didn't actually died from his stab, he died from the "No"

When you realize when the Dark Lord says "Stand and fight Slayer and honor your true God" he is referring to himself.

They know his purpose, his reason, his capabilities; and even when they know he might come after them, they preserve him anyways. They know it's worth more having Doomslayer around than not, regardless of the risk.

Ending = "Wake me... when you need me, to Rip and Tear."

Can we just appreciate that this was all just a grandiose way for doomguy to get revenge for his bunny

Give the Intern a raise

"Rip, and tear, until it is done"

Everybody gangsta until its actually done

Doomguy must be untouchable. Not even drops of blood or sweat can land a hit on him.

It’s kinda sad to think doom slayer is gonna be locked up for a long long time again. I get that he isn’t needed anymore, but it still sucks. He deserves to go back on his space fortress and read comic books and play video games :(

Base boss: "The Dark Lord is coming, evacuate now!"
The Intern: "Bro, let's go!"

That Intern's the kind of bro you want by your side.

I like how during the Seraphim’s speech, the portal opens, and the Doom Slayer just walks past and through the portal, before the Seraphim is even done talking.

Thanos: I am inevitable

Slayer: no

Thanos: [vanishes to dust]

that Intern must have the balls of Trimmed Masterwork to not cower in fear next to the slayer and actually want to be a part of his plan

The Dark Lord is honestly one of the best final bosses when it comes to dignity, he played pretty fairly against the slayer and didn't really resort to cheap tricks, and in the end when Doomguy inevitably wins, Dark Lord just accepts his fate and accepts death.

"And underneath this helmet is...ANOTHER HELMET!"
"...Wha-?"
stab
Our boy did it. He ripped and tore. Until it was done. Literally.
