Doomslayer dies and goes to hell. Every demon "oh shit, oh fuck hes back"

@Netsaver 2 months ago

It's so sad, he chose the rabbit because of the fact that the girl who died was holding a rabbit doll. Daisy was comfort but she was also a reminder of his sin and unintended murder... no wonder why he went ballistic when she was killed it was like seeing that little girl die all over again.

Revelations DLC's line "defeating this annoying BASTARD" referring to the archvile was personal 😅

hated that guy

Tbh it feels so surreal actually playing through each part of the Doom Slayer Testaments

We're eating well tonight, 3 hours of lore for one of the (personal opinion) best game series to have ever been made.

My preferred version of the lore is that there was this one normal dude who got so absolutely, unfathomably pissed and fuelled by rage when his pet rabbit got killed.

Demon: this guy just won’t die! What the hell do we do about him??!!

Actually, the reason why Davoth looks like Doomslayer is explained by The Father during the cutscene at the end of part one. The forces of hell envision Davoth as the strongest, they see the Doomslayer as the strongest for how he rips and tears through them all. Therefore, Davoth takes on the form of Doomslayer.

It's like how in Marvel Comics Galactus takes on the appearance of whatever being looks at him, a Human would see a Giant Human aka his 'traditional appearance', a Skrull would see a Giant Skrull, and so on and so forth. He isn't ACTUALLY that form, he just is perceived that way by those who look at him to make sense of something they otherwise could not make sense of.

Imagine making a perfect human copy for yourself to the point it even got perfectly recreated brwin cancer. Even 200 years into the future, humanity never solved cancer.

I personally believe Weems WAS assaulted after Flynn's mission. I feel it fits Flynn more and helps solidify stuff. If Wesley WASN'T attcked, people would notice he seemed fine and the case would be thrown out. The fact that Flynn beat up Weems would let Wesley cry to daddy easier and daddy would be able to easily spin it to make the evil Cpl. Taggart hurt his special little boy after killing dozens of innocents knowingly all the more believable to onlookers.

I have not been able to play through Dark Ages or the DLC yet, but I want to promote the video, so here’s my comment and I already clicked the like button. Will be back to watch this in full when I have finished my play through.

No Thy Flesh Consumed, no Plutonia, TNT, Rest For The Living, or Legacy of Rust. I cry.

"Evacuate to the planet with a big fuckin hole in it. It's certainly a lot safer now that the Slayer has the BFG." 🤣

I love how, despite having no cutscene or lore relevance to big plot points, the Archvile (Arsevile) is so universally recognized as the most annoying superdemon that won't stop coming back that you still added him to the thumbnail art!
