I created my own IPL franchise from scratch in Cricket Captain 2026.

The IPL already has teams in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad but one of India’s most famous destinations has never had a franchise of its own.

So I’m bringing the IPL to Goa.

Welcome to the Goa Waves, a completely new franchise inspired by Goa’s beaches, tourism, coastline and tropical identity.

I created a brand-new:

🌊 Team name
🎨 Badge and colours
👕 Home kit
🏟️ Goa Waves stadium
📱 Franchise identity

But there is one major problem…

The Goa Waves are starting with zero players.

There is no captain, no Indian core, no overseas superstar and no established squad. I have to build the entire team from scratch through the IPL auction and recruitment system.

And I only have 3 seasons to complete the Goa Waves’ 3-year plan:

✅ Finish in the top half
✅ Reach the IPL playoffs
✅ Reach an IPL final
🏆 Win the IPL

Every auction decision matters. Every overseas position matters. And one bad recruitment window could cost us an entire season.

Can a brand-new franchise from India’s holiday paradise become the next powerhouse of the IPL?

This is the complete five-season Goa Waves rebuild in Cricket Captain 2026.

Let me know in the comments which player you would have signed first for the Goa Waves.
