Glenn Maxwell's matchwinning 201 not out against Afghanistan in the 2023 ODI World Cup, is considered the greatest ODI Innings of all time. And for months I tried to recreate the feat in a cricket video game. From frustration to elation, here's a journey like never before.

Now that took 500 attempts in a video game. Imagine doing that on one leg with all the pain and agony in the world on the biggest stage where you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Hes a madman maxwell

It took nearly 500 attempts to do that in a video game. Maxi did it with one leg in WC pressure. Unreal knock. Truly goated ODI knock ever 🙌

Congratulations Dean! I was getting increasingly worried for you because you kept attempting the challenge despite the obvious frustration you went through, but you never gave up. I only questioned why you kept on trying because I want you to play games to enjoy yourself and have fun. I know it meant so much to you to get this challenge done, and I am immensely proud of you. Congratulations buddy. 😊🇦🇺😊🇦🇺😊🇦🇺

And then there was glitches, along with some nasty bys in just the start of the innings. Finally that inning arrived. That crossed the personal best leading to become the inning to complete the scenario.
