I left Argentina at 24 and lived in six countries. When I ran out of money in Dublin and spent fourteen days without knowing where I was going to sleep, the only people who showed up were a Paraguayan woman, a Spaniard, and an Italian woman. Not a single Argentinian. And I'd been saying for years that Argentinians abroad help each other out.
This video is about what was underneath all that: that the passport that opens that door isn't nationality, it's the condition. And that's why it shuts off when you return.
