Old money whispers, new money shouts.

I love how a house in Arvada is now as expensive as a house in Cherry hills

Our house is 136 years old. Four generations. Close to botanic gardens.

I commented foolishly before, this video is a great breakdown of the history of the richest hoods in Denver. Much appreciated!

I was a Denver Police officer back in the 1980s. One thing all of these houses have in common is burglar alarms. All it takes is a door left ajar or blown open by the wind for the cops to be called. Thanks to this, my colleagues and I got tours of a lot of these homes - and the occupants were always very gracious. Some of these places were really stunning.

Park Hill has generational properties that hold value and is a uniquely close community!
I lived there for 25 years

Our family recently moved to a relatively affluent neighborhood in South Denver near Wash Park. My jaw about hit the floor when I took a Lyft through Country Club, Bonnie Brae, and adjacent neighborhoods! Makes me wonder which neighborhood did the Carringtons of the TV show Dynasty live? LOL

wow. I just saw my family's home in Polo Club. That's so cool! Good video!

One premium neighborhood that flies under the radar often is Bow Mar. Large lots with multi-million dollar homes, a private lake with beach and marina, and killer views! Great location inside Littleton, too.

Lived in Denver for years. Those “old money” homes are so stately and grand. I always wondered what kind of people live in those houses. Beautiful old mansions.

The brick added with siding in new homes is beautiful and offers a little architectural elegance to homes that aren’t in the ultra high-end neighborhoods like old Denver & Polo Club. I hope builders continue to offer that as it provides character to homes. Brick classy & beautiful on homes.

Our family has been in the same house since it was built in 51, as are many neighbors. Even the original farm house is still in the family.

I saw a small Tudor home(my favorite) in Denver with a pool in the backyard. So nice! 🙂

My son lived in an apartment just a few blocks from Hillop, and would often walk to the park. It was always a pleasant walk, and had a sense of peace to it.

My grandparents owned the most exclusive floral shop in Cherry Creek. Just a block west of Colorado Boulevard on third Avenue. From the time I was old enough to drive a van I remember all these neighborhoods clearly. And remember some very unique areas out west in the Applewood area. Although, mainly Park hill, Cherry Creek, Cherry Hills. Hilltop, of course the Country club area. There were so many little pockets in the city, I don't make it down to Denver much anymore. Great memories.

Born and raised in Aurora. One of my favorite things to do when I’m in a new part of Denver is to take a quick detour through a neighborhood and look at the beautiful and hidden homes. Was lucky enough to drive on polo club one day, that has to be my favorite pocket in Denver. The first time I drove by belcaro, I was somewhat haunted by the size and ominous aura from the lack of lights, but it made me do my research! Also the king estate in bow mar/the story surrounding it is a fun bit of Denver history. This was all over the place, but this video brings lots of memories. Thanks!

I've been in four of 20 of the mansions in Cherry hills village

Living in Speer, I get the opportunity to go through several of these neighborhoods to get to destinations. I love Country Club for the opposite reason I hate Polo Club: “gated exclusivity”! Country Club is classic & welcoming on its streets with sidewalks in the way that Polo Club is closed off, despises humans (no sidewalks—even for residents—so you are not getting to know your neighbors near home) & pretentious despite the “gates” being underpaid security officers.

Russel Wilson and his wife, Ciara, sold their Cherry Hills Village mansion for $21.5 million in March 2024, taking a $4M loss on the property. Poor guy - hope he's OK
