I love this game for the fact they got Yu-Gi-Oh characters as fighting characters and it fucking awesome

I remember hoping this would be the next "Jump Ultimate Stars" and being severely disappointed.

“Why are you all wearing Trunks’s outfit?”
Sometimes foreshadowing is relatively obvious

The sword fighting is obviously to represent Ichigo. It sounds like the 4 are the big 4

METAL COOLER HAS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE

Kurapika catching strays with that Kurapaka name.

As someone who’s been majorly getting into Kinnikuman. I don’t know if I’m saddened or relieved the Justice and Devil Chojin were left out in this one.

It's so frustrating that they came up with a great "smash clone" with Jump Super Stars/Ultimate Stars, but instead of building upon with home console version they came up with "J-Stars Victory" and "Jump Force"

DUDE, give Saint Seiya a chance, seriously! You won’t regret it. The art style might be a little different, but I GUARANTEE you, it’s SO GOOD!!!

If they ever make a sequel or spiritual successor, it would be cool if you could choose to be a hero or a villain.

I forgot about the Netflix Death Note until this video. Thanks for that.

So Shisho saying he ran out of time might be a reference to the anime where he can only fight for a certain amount of time before his body overheats. I also ended up beating the story at like 3am lol.

I think the best idea for a Jump game would be a tournament arc.
You could use characters like Light Yagami in a support role.
J-Stars Victory basically worked that way, but the story could be made more interesting, and we could be given the chance to interact with the anime characters.

honestly game was fire didnt deserve to be removed the way it did...story mode was a minus but overall it was legendary

The way they handled DLC was a mess (As I said in another comment, I’m aware of how complicated licensing is in Japan) at first, I thought they were going in the right direction by adding characters to less represented series (MHA, Yugioh, Hunter X Hunter etc), but no, they went right into adding characters from series that already had a crazy amount of representatives (did we really need more Dragon Ball characters, we already have 100s of games where we can play as these characters), meanwhile Asta is sitting in a corner flicking quarters as the only Black Clover character.

Not to mention the missed opportunity to add characters from newer up and coming series (I mean could you imagine the theoretical hype for characters like Tanjiro, Yuji Itadori, Denji, or freaking Satoru Gojo?!)

1:10:11 Kingdom Hearts approach? So true...

If you click bottom arrow, you get vehicle options in the main hub. Faster way to get around

I'm so sorry you had to deal with all this

I have a soft spot for this game because of how people were banding together to get the achievements and help each other before the servers closed also it got patched to still be completable post shutdown a pretty wholesome ending even if the game itself isn't that good.

So much wasted potential in this title. I still play on steam deck every now and then
