Some people see being a nail artist as easy money and that is the truth! Anyone can paint a nail but it takes dedication and knowledge to be an actual nail artist who knows about their stuff and healthcare of nails

Season 2 of "Why I do my nails at home" just dropped lol

Normalize not tipping or EVEN PAYINGG for bad service. We need to start speaking out more on these nails salons. Your health is more important than being rude to someone.

The first story has me shocked. Attacking someone and it's your idea to call the police? Knowing damn well you have a camera? Who do you think they're going to side with?
Imagine jumping on someone. You have no idea their health. I look young and healthy but if someone jumped on me they would be getting sued into oblivion because my bones would probably snap.

From what I found on the first girl's page, she can't find their licenses registered with the state board, and the nail salon has been deleting negative reviews. She hasn't pressed charges yet (because legal stuff is scary and super complicated) but I hope she will

I recently went on vacation and decided to treat myself to a set of acrylics. This was only the second time I’ve ever gotten a nail set. Plain set just alternating the colors of the polish. The whole time I talked to the tech about how I didn’t want them too thick. Once I left and got into the light had the thickest claws on my nails. By the next day the paint was peeling because the first layers weren’t cured correctly. Went back to the salon told the owner that I just wanted the paint fixed at least and fix the pinkie that was completely mangled. The tech came over and looked at my hand and indicated only to fix 2 of the nails. Thank god for the new tech. She looked at my hand and said “Who did these? You want them this thick?!?” Me: NO! This young lady fixed my nails — ALL my nails— to perfection. No charge and an apology from the owner. No arguments about what I wanted  and just courtesy. I will go back to that new tech only. She won my loyalty by listening and providing me with the service I deserved from the jump.

18:48 girl JUMPED at the opportunity to look at the reviews lmao. Good on the young lady for telling the name of the business.

0:16 I do my own nails, nail drill, cuticle work, rubber base, gel polish, nail art, the whole shebang and I’ve NEVER done this to myself. And Im not even licensed. Im a YouTube professional 😭🙏

We all need to start reporting these filthy nail salons. I’m all for people owning a business but be professional & ya better be sterilizing your equipment between clients which too many don’t.

Holy shit. I don’t really go to salons and was always confused as to why you’d need a license to put nail polish on someone. But seeing this? They’re working with multiple different reactive chemicals, and on a persons body! Im a biomedical engineer, and some of the stuff they’re using is so SO dangerous to use in such unsterile environments so haphazardly.  Like it’s genuinely a miracle no one has gone septic or needed a partial amputation. But I think it’s just a matter of time before we see someone whose fingers sustained extreme chemical burns or life threatening infections.
Also it’s so insane to attack someone over this and then try to BARRICADE THEM INSIDE. like girl you are kidnapping.
Btw just subscribed, can’t wait to see you blow up on here, you deserve it with your video quality and commentary!

”if she didn’t call the cops she for sure tipped” yeah.. sadly you’re not wrong that is how ppl act 😭

That first story is crazy, just call the cops or report them to the better business bureau and call it a day

when I was younger I though pain and cuts were normal during the appointment and would usually go home with a sore nail. Today I thank god that I learned how to paint my own nails, cuz if I mess it up at least I know I'm the one to blame and didn't pay for an overly expensive service

The way Busiswa and I both whipped out our phones to search the salon the moment she said the location 😂 💀

Complaining that the salon is not communicating well.  Being unhappy but not communicating this and still tipping.  Then going online to complain.  If everyone is "too nice" to speak up, nothing changes.  Use assertive communication.  Its not "mean", its a skill.

Last year I had a full set of acrylics,  got 2 fills, then decided the upkeep was too expensive. So told my nail tech to remove them. She drilled them off, in some places clear through my natural nail. I'm all done with fake nails.

Girll 😂 the commercial for your subscription got me a little too good!

This video is exactly why I cannot go to these types of nail shops. Heck…It would be safer to go to a nail school because they have to be to in compliance and big on safety. They are also typically slower and take their time. I have a lot of trouble finding nail techs that are actually professional. I know they are out there but where? 😢

I saw this epidemic being created during the entrepreneur era of the pandemic. Everyone was suddenly a nail tech/lash tech/hair stylist/veneer tech/model/etc. 🙄

18:39 the horror on my face when I realized that I live exactly 25 minutes away from that salon 😭😭 YouTube knew to recommend me this video
