glad youre doing the explicit versions

Til I collapse Eminem is a good song shake that so many

This song takes me back.  When i was in college and this song came out, every girl in Missouri responded the exact same way as you ..😊

The song is called “The Real Slim Shady” not Slim Shady lol btw it’s his alter ego Em has 3 Alter Egos Eminem who’s serious about his craft,Slim Shady the crazy barred out psychopathic lyrical murder that takes no prisoners & Marshall Mathers the man behind the music🙌🏽🐐🔥💯

Basically, he had a beef with Christina Aguilera. Actually, with a few pop stars lmao

Non other than the legendary lyricist, Elvis Costello, called him one of the best writers of all time.

The thing that made Eminem was his honesty, whether through his humor or heartbreak, he was not afraid to show people who he was. That was a bit different in the rap game - most rappers had this front up of being the badass tough guy/girl. You couldn't show vulnerability or that you were goofy because that was weakness. Em changed that up and said, "Here I am - deal with it." Of course he was taking a ton of drugs at the time too, so.....

love the eminem reactions, should definitely look into reacting  to "Darkness" and "beautiful" and "headlights" all deep songs! . also the rap battles from the movie 8 mile!

PLEASE try and do the Eminem run through as chronologically as possible. Paints a much better picture and the journey is great

Em is Em and there will never be another like him. Im a country listener mostly, but Im an 81 baby so the 90s hip hop and rap is the only stuff I like! Some of the early 2000s stuff wasn't bad either. Eminem is a legend didn't give afck and was a slick lyricist! Keep doing what you're doing beautiful ur fun to watch!

It's actually called The Real Slim Shady. A little background - the record label wanted another lead off single like My Name is from his previous album. Em didn't think he could top that song and wrote The Way I am out of frustration, where he talks about expectations and pressures and not being able to top My Name Is. Then The Way I Am was going to be the first single but basically at the last minute he got inspired by the beat and wrote The Real Slim Shady.

Oh and also check out the Grammy performance of Stan he does with Elton john. It’s unreal how he can tell a story. He was being called homophobic for his lyrics so he said he’d only do the Grammys if it was with Elton, Elton eventually helped em get sober and they’re still really good friends today. Super cool story

Really appreciate this real version.  You a brave woman

I’m 63! I had 5 small children when this came out. So they didn’t know better. At 40, I laughed my azz off and had to play this in the car going to work. My ex wife FKIN HATED IT! Then WITHOUT ME was released and my kids heard it but he spit so fast they didn’t understand. Ex STILL HATED IT. Hahaha Em is Elvis? Hahaha 😂

I just gonna let you know that there is 3 types of eminem.
