Skipping Remember Me during the first verse is wild

Eminem has been "trolling" since before it was a mainstream concept..

My 70 year old mom singing Kill you in the back seat of my car is a memory I'll hold close to my heart forever.

It's funny to hear you talk about his influence on white kids. Imagine being a black kid from Detroit who wanted to be a rapper who's older cousin used to bully this man. This man is one of my biggest inspirations in life.

For Stan you have to watch the Video, is like a mini movie

You'd never understand, this was before your time bro, I can say I'm grateful to experience this album first hand the moment it dropped. The hiphop scene was at it's prime and the best it ever was and has been

Best Eminem album. I bought this album on release day. Still have the original one I bought

One thing not many people get is this was his therapy. The rage he had inside, he said what we all think at times. But he got it out. Once he got it out he was free. But it took several albums to get there.
Look at him now. Never knew the man but I’m proud of him. He broke the cycle. He even took in other family members kids. He brought his whole family out.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I used to listen to this album on repeat in high school. It was awesome seeing your reactions to it for the first time. This was back when music was REAL.

His reference to putting an autograph on the starter cap for Stan’s brother shows up in Kill Shot, where he suggests MGK is a Stan. 😂

Giving me chills listening along with you. Makes me feel like I’m hearing for the first time again 🤘🏼

Good listen. This brought me back. I'm 47 and had the opportunity to meet EM at the Warped Tour '99 in Asbury Park. He finished his set so me and my friend ran back stage and I was able to dap him up. We tried to get him to blaze one with us but security wasn't having none of that. One of the fondest memories I have.

No joke i registered for a university level english course that dissected music including this record as part of the syllabus back in 2005. I always appreciated an academic approach to it as there was so much in one record to dissect.
