It's the end of the summer holidays, I have a week off work so what better way to spend it than to buy an auction Porsche with a problem. One just happened to turn up on BCA with a broken roof, so I'm going to take a gamble on it.
In this video I tackle the problem of the broken roof, we do a bit of coding with a great diagnostic machine and let's find out if I can fix it, and for how much.
After that job, I move on to the cosmetics - the usual jobs you need to do on these! A mild headlamp restoration, some new centre caps, new heater buttons and a full service.
The interior is alcantara with a LOT of bobbles, so I try a technique I saw on the @furiousdriving YouTube channel using wet and dry paper. Here's the video if you want to see a much better tutorial:
