Alternate Title: Nidus Mains, and how they got the best drip for their operators.

I feel this night wave story has the biggest potential too to have a follow up of some kind later. With the introduction of tecnocyte in 1999 more infestation lore in the future seems likely.

Back then, Arlo sent his followers to revive any fallen Tenno in the first half of the season. Then he converted those followers into a pseudo stalker to hunt the Tenno and harvest what is left in it. In the final stage, the Zealot priest of Arlo personally challenged the Tenno in a combat, but Arlo decided to dwell in Eris after knowing how dangerous the Tenno is when they slain the Zealoid Prelate.

Unfortunately, I missed this Nightwave because I burned out from The Wolf. Glad to see a recap of it.

I was around that time (before I took my two and a half year break from warframe) i didn’t think much of the “cult” at first…and thought they where just a bunch of well meaning healers, they definitely got my trust when they saved my ass from a few near mission failures.
But when I saw the people, grineer, and corpus willingly throwing themselves into a literal infested maw: and the healers tured into infested zealots… I immediately knew this was gonna get ugly, even by infested standers.

Glassmaker next. I started warframe during glassmaker nightwave

Also, when you think of it, the Emissary operator suit, and the Pathocyst, are both direct results of Arlo's cult. For all intents and purposes, the tenno carry an active piece of that strain with them at all times. The Coda have an upgraded version of the pathocyst, too...

The way Nora talked about the "hollow eyed kid" reminded me of the kids that showed up in Duviri. Maybe related?

although emissary of eris and glass gambit were big expansions for infested lore its kinda interesting how the concept seems to have always been there, like when you read the synthesis imprint of the corrupted ancient the story there proves that in a way the infested have this weirdly "sympathetic" strategy to them (like how each infested individual leans on having their own personality, but still wanting to contribute to the hivemind by making other join, willingly or not)

In the middle of work but gonna watch when I get home. Had a lot of fun on the live last night btw keep up the good work.

Ok i just noticed the similarities between Eleanor and arlo, both became mute, can controll infested to a degree ,the eyes ,both where kinda good until absorbing more infested what if arlo had the same thing going on but wasnt a warframe so he couldn't fight it for long.

Any idea why nidus is in The Glask gambit and not on deimos on xaku's place?

6:30 This cracked me up

5:40 oww! I was on my headphones
Subscribed tho 🙂

5:34 probably got attacked during plague star event

Would love to see DE go more into the infested stuff later. Could eventually have zombies ish creatures in the normal and SP version of Star chart. Like a small faction of humanoid standing creepy shit.

Somehow I knew it would either be Arlo's culy or Ballas's Narmer cult from the title.

Then I apoiled myself by looking at thr comments, and knew my first thought was right and I shouldn't have second guessed when you talked about evil imitating good in the eyes of those it fools.

I miss these stories from nora❤❤❤

20:30 what are those weird half warframe looking infested?

I originally thought that the infested liches would have something to do with Arlo.

Don't get me wrong I still enjoy the Technocyte Coda.
