"He knows... Don't go home."

The ‘RUUUUUNNN!!’ scene is top tier. One of my favorite scenes in movie history

Extreme Frogger killed me 😂😂😂😂😂

I love how they made us despise Colin Farrell’s character but in the end he was actually really just doing his job and doing it well, recognizing immediately that John Anderton had been framed

Colin Farrell's character was so cool. Did a great job of convincing these two he was the bad guy.

"He didn't light him on fire or anything!"

Best. Comment.

4:02 Chandra's face lighting up when Anderton confirmed her guess of merry-go-round gave me a good laugh.

‘if you dig up the past, all you get is dirty’ - Buster Scruggs

One of the best things about watching movies with Maplenuts is that, unlike many, many other movie reactors, you two don't spend the whole movie arguing with the characters, writers or directors about how they should have done things differently. You may point out when choices characters make are illogical or foolish, but you then accept what has occurred and identify what may result from it. Even though you are often smarter than the movie, you never try to condescend and show-off how much smarter you are. You respect the film and filmmakers by watching the movie they made. It makes it a very pleasant experience to watch with you.

The other loophole of the precrime is exactly what happens with John and Jim Crow.   John didn’t premeditate it because he was thinking what he would do if he meet the man who took his son.  It was premeditated because it was set up by Lamar Burton.   The precogs only see the perpetrator and the victim, not the person who orchestrated the murder. So Lamar premeditated two murders and committed a 3rd in the heat of the moment.  It’s an amazing little detail most never notice.

When Samantha Morton said there is so much love in this room....and then talked about his son's life...I have to say this grown man teared up.

One of the best things that no-one ever mentions, is that everyone treats Colin Farells character as the bad guy, but in reality he's a good guy and is actually an incredibly good and highly competent detective.

I hate cheaters, especially women who stay around without breaking up with  the guy to leech off of his money.

The way John's voice broke... Cruise really is an incredible actor.

“He knows. Don’t go home”.

It's crazy how Max von Sydow just ended up looking exactly like he did in The Exorcist when they aged him.

And it's not just Spielberg and Tom Cruise. This is based on a sci-fi story by Phillip K. Dick. If you look up the listing on IMDB of the movies based on Phillip Dick's stories, it's just hit after hit after hit. There are great movies based on his work.

The billboard targeting and saying his name "John Anderton" is iconic in that targeted advertising is putting us there.

4:26 her comment about expecting jetpacks, and knowing what comes later... made me smile anticipating her reaction to seeing the actual jetpacks

Read through about half the comments and nobody seemed to post one of my favorite Easter eggs yet..the three pre-cogs are named after famous mystery authors. Agatha (Christie), Dashell (Hammett), and Arthur (Conan Doyle).
