First of all: a nice build.
Keep the AIM-174s for a future build of this same kit.
Then you'll have 4 of these missiles to hang under the wings for a really bad ass loadout.

Another great work, Dusan,

Tommy deserves an award for this one. 🏆

Very well done.

БЛЕСТЯЩЕ   ! ! !

Awesome build, now you need a giant Tic Tac UFO to chase like
the one Commander David Fravor
saw and got radar images of!!!
😂😂😂😂

excellent as always, but I was hoping for the high viz tail LOL great work as always. I will have to start work on my three Meng Hornets this winter!

Well done, your weathering is spot-on as some builders tend to over-weather their builds.  Academy has steadily improved over the years and this kit is exceptional.

Good kit and build :face-green-smiling:.Thanks for the tips!

Haven’t seen this in person yet but I do like that the panel in front of the nose gear bay is molded separately. Meng split it in half through the mesh…also Meng’s nose does not fit well and needs removal of the locating tabs to fit it. Weapons on the Academy bug look more modern as well. The Meng Bug has some out dated weapons that are not really in use like the Maverick missile. Looks like the Academy one is about $10 more but looks worth it.

😍😍😍😍😍😍

😀👍

Looks about as good as the Meng kit, which is a fun build. The hyper-accurists can have their say. I'll rock one.

Not sure why you think you can’t use the -174s. They are in active service.

You have made an old man happy taken away bad thoughts and poor health with your video . I cannot thank you enough . A wonderful build by the MASTER.  Great build of a majestic aircraft  . Thank you so much

Looks like a solid kit but with some oddities.  Academy have really up'd their game in recent years especially with their new A-10C released in 2023 which included some nice slide molding.  I don't see that in this kit so it would have been nice to at least have the intake tubes as slide molded parts to eliminate that seam you had to fill and sand.  The Super Hornet in general is a headache for kit manufacturers.  I was in Virginia Beach recently for this years NAS Oceana airshow which is home to the Atlantic fleet Master jet base.  Several Supers where on static display and close up, they are big but then you start to notice the angles and areas where kit manufacturers have a tough time deciding where to put part joints which aren't natural to the real thing.  I'd be interested to get one just to try it.  Oh and one other thing...as a strike against Academy.. Stop using Jolly Rogers markings!!!!  There's a plethora of other squadrons that use Super Hornets including the aggressor units which have some really cool splinter camos, all over black and desert camos.

Makes me laugh how you cut the bits off the spru and just let them drop or ping off, if I did that I’d be looking for them for a week 😂

So this can be an F and a single seat E version?

Excelente trabajo y cuando ACADEMY saca en la escala 1:32???, Saludos!!!! desde lima peru
