I never expected y'all to react to Jaiden, and I'm so happy you did. Her animated stories are fantastic, and the Nuzlocke trilogy is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend the other two.

The Platinum nuzlocke is actually absolute cinema, hope y'all watch that one too

"I can't imagine the rage failing this late into the game"
The first Nuzlocke ever famously failed battling the Elite Four

Trust me when I say that her Platinum run has a lot of cool lore and context behind it that makes it SO GOOD!!!

I knew her in HS! She was a freshie when I was a senior and we were in Art class together.
When she did her face reveal, it hit me that this person I've loved her animations for YEARS was someone I actually was kinda friends with!

Her Nuzleaf being a big character in her run is always fun- because the name Nuzlocke came from the original comic's Nuzleaf named after John Locke from Lost.

10:25 when you realize zipzapzop lived only because it killed so many marill and marill give HP EV's when killed💀

Jaiden’s nuzlocke videos are so much fun. I play the gen 3 remakes mainly now and I played Ruby when I was a kid. Mega Sceptile is my boy. Gen 4 is always going to be my favorite but honestly have grown to love a lot of them. Gen 7 was the one that surprised me the most. Pokemon has so many games and you can get so many different experiences out of them.

Fun fact: the reason ZZZ survived the EQ was because of all the dead Marills. Jaiden accidentally EV trained her Magneton, giving it the extra HP needed to survive

It can't be understated how important this video was for the nuzlocke community. This video introduced MILLIONS of people to the concept, which was really the explosion of people telling their own stories through the nuzlocke formula. If it weren't for this video, nuzlockes wouldn't be as popular as they are today

13:21 I think her logic here was that Tate and Liza's pokemon were leveled so high because they only had one each, so she was expecting it to maybe go back down after the gym battle

5:41 CHAD?!! Listen Sorta Stupid, if Purplecliffe knows anything, it’s that Chad is a legend.

2:16 Idk if anyone already mentioned it yet, but Jaiden has a bird name Ari, that's why her comment is like that 😂

Jaiden has a real talent for story telling and humor

Fun fact, the reason zipzapzop lived on 2HP is because of IVs, if I remember correctly Marill gives HP IVs

The unhinged energy and emotional heart of this one are gold. ZipZapZop MVP will not be forgotten

12:25 Even at level, Tate and Liza is probably the single hardest gym/E4 battle in the game imo. Going in this underleveled is a recipe for failure. 💀

3:43: To be fair, that Magnemite landed a critical hit.

8:17 is TeamFourStar's team when they did an Emerald Nuzlocke! Such a fun playthrough, y'all should check it out!

I love that the reason Magneton survived the earthquake was accidental EV training.
