Ari is a reference to her real life bird if you didn't know her bird also screams when hungry

@HazyDefender98 6 years ago

I love how he never talks down on her actions knowing she isn't that experienced and I loved his commentary and suggestions on her playing

Jaden: dang guess you have to to die
Pro: EXCELLENT

This is basically a reaction video without any fake reactions and constructive criticism, which makes it 100% better than stupid reaction videos

"I cant do outtros just subscribe or some shit"
Best outtro ive ever heard

"Oh, hello Shroomish. I'm gonna name you Onion."
"I'm not crying. Someone's just chopping onions in here."
That should not have made me laugh as much as it did.

It’s funny he said at the beginning that Tailow and Combusken were the only good ones, cause they were also the only survivors

@thestudioofwonders666 1 year ago

6:49 he felt that “why” in his soul

I love the way he narrates the story. Praises Jaiden when she makes a good move, gives a proper opinion when it's necessary and genuinely enjoys the video without making too many pauses or something.
Kudos to you.

Jaiden: makes a fun animation about her emotion filled journey of a Nuzlocke
Pokemon Challenges: Kowalski, Analysis

@neolithium 6 years ago

Yeah, Jaiden used to do competitive battles, so she's pretty good at knowing things and knowing when to make sacrifices.

Telling your nuzlocke tale in the form of an animation helps a lot to make the travel more interesting in narrative terms.

For example; saying that Corn's phantom saved Zip Zag at the last minute from Altaria's earthquake was a nice, emotional touch.

"I'm enjoying this animation very much." This dude is the kind of person that needs to say stuff like this because you would not be able to tell from his stony face

@RaulRomeoTV 6 years ago

I really like the way she played it, she took into account the NICKNAME rule. That emotional attachment, she even stresses it in the video. I understand that you might want the strongest team, but that kinda neglects that rule to an extent.

Also it makes her a really cool trainer, anyone can win with strategy, but she made it harder. Respect.

It's a beautiful story of love, loss, a peeko, and an annoying boy who had trouble catching his first Pokémon and ultimately ends up stalking you.

15:52 “so this interests me” while pointing at a white wall

@alanguillermo3145 5 years ago

I love how well spoken and respectful he was in his critiques throughout the whole video, then he gets to the end and just goes, "I can't do outros, just subscribe or some shit." lol

Out of the Pokémon YouTubers who reacted to this, this guy is one of my favorites since he’s a pro nuzlocke and instead of lookin down he recognized her efforts and provided tips and lessons and still enjoyed it despite jaiden’s mistakes I respect that

@NeverSeenSunlight 5 years ago

The joke with tailow/swellow’s name is that Jaiden has a bird named Ari whose personality fits tailow’s Pokédex entry perfectly

I did a Soul Silver nuzlocke. I looked up encounters for everywhere and noticed that the Cliff Cave has got wild Steelix at a higher level than everything else. A creative use of Repel guaranteed that encounter, and it was very literally the backbone of my team to stomp through for an easy victory.
