Scent Reflection weekly! A weekly recap of the fragrances I wore over the last 7 days, including what made me select them and a brief wear experience of each.
This week started with a sample of the brand new Creed Iris Debonair, a final wear of a summer fragrance, a wear test and then back to reality- with the kids and my wife back to school (she's a Teacher, don't worry!) after them having a nice summer break.
Saturday 29th August 2026 - Creed Iris Debonair sample. Given to me in the Trafford Centre by the lovely Creed staff who recognised me following a purchase a couple of weeks before.
Sunday 30th - Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman. A final wear of Blue Talisman to mark one of the last days of summer and remind me of the great times we had this year.
Monday 31st - YSL Tuxedo. A full wear test as requested by a valued subscriber.
Tuesday 1st September 2026 - Amouage Reflection. My first day back at work and feeling quite reflective.
Wednesday 2nd - Amouage Timber. The wear experience was incredible, and far exceeded my expectations of the fragrance.
Thursday 3rd - Amouage Outlands. 6 sprays had me hit quite hard by this one. More wear experience required as it was pretty heavy all day.
Friday 4th - Amouage Decision. I didn't mention in the video, but today, I will make a huge decision at work. And there can be no better fragrance.

When I ordered a bunch of samples from fragrancesamplesuk a while back, they chucked a couple of freebies in, and Moustache was one of them. It is nice, spicy, and is in the wheelhouse of Tuxedo. I say they’re very similar, but I know that if I tried them both multiple times I’d pick up quite a few differences.
I wore Outlands for a full day of walking and what an experience! 5 on neck, 2 on forearm and 1 on t shirt! It floated around me in the wind all day!
