We are still needing the comparison between the 2.0 and the HP-X Pro

Why do reviewers never show how it operates indoors? Most people will be using these lights mainly for home defense.

Great video. Very well explained but also keep in mind that HL-X has been designed for closer range and house or building operation. The 2.0 HP is way to bright and the light throw bounce back.....Two differents models for two different applications. Both are good weapon lights!

I love Streamlight, but man, I got a new protac HP-X and literally the first time plugging the jack, as I pulled it out (carefully, mind you) to figure out where I wanted the cable positioned, the little contacts on the jack broke off... and now the pressure pad is junk.

Can you do a video of these two comparisons indoor ?

Hey harley, a bit of an ask, could you do another comparison coming up of the trigger tech triggers again? Their trigger lineup released new models, duty variants with a couple changes and would love to see how those play out! Thanks for all your reviews and comparisons to date!

Not coming with a constant on switch is just dumb. You may not need it, but it being there costs Streamlight a few cents to include in each switch. Even OLIGHT does this. And the 90* angle of the connector makes cable management more difficult.

Oh the silver ring that gets painted green every time😂

I like cloud defensive rein 3 more than anything but for budget streamlight is grest

Thanks for the in-depth review!

Do you know why the HP has less than half of the run time on Low than the HL-X has? I know it's putting out more lumens than the HL-X but the HP has a larger battery and it has a longer run timd on High.

I also was not aware about the trademark for the silver ring. Do you have any additional info regarding that? Is it purely cosmetic or has there ever been a function for that ring?

First!

Sorry but reviews of lights in the comfort of your house and backyard are useless. Put it on your weapon, turn on the light and run 100 rounds through the weapon and show me that the light is still on, the switch toggles on and off and the mount hasn't fallen off.
