the ability to print money of thin air and they focking locked it away.

We'll never see this mechanic improved on in our entire lifetime unless Netflix say something

I swear, we need a Nemesis System game where you are just straight-up the bad guy- fighting against the forces of good.

If they put this mechanic in a super hero game they’d literally have all the money

Even sadder is that Monolith, the legendary game devs that invented the nemesis system (along with making alot of other good shit like F.E.A.R. and Condemned: Criminal Origins) were basically taken outback and put down like old yeller by WB not too long ago. Didn't even get to finish their final game, fuck this company.

NETFLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIX! SLAY WARNER BROTHERS AND RELEASE THE NEMESIS SYSTEM, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!

honestly the people that made it, pattented it and then went "oh yeah lets never do anything with this again" deserve to be SHOT (in mincecraft)

Imagine how the nemesis system would have developed by now

Can't wait for several devs to cook up their take on nemesis system in their game and release it as soon as the patent dies :3

Imagine painting a scenic River and using your brush strokes to make the water look like it’s flowing. Then you get a patent on that brush technique, tell everyone they aren’t allowed to paint rivers that look flowy or you’ll sue them for everything they have, and then never painting another river again after that.

Many games as a whole would have benefited greatly from the nemesis system.

It always amazed me how Talion acts surprised by what Celebrimbor is willing to do even though this was established in the previous game and Talion is the one who insisted on making a new ring to continue the fight while Celebrimbor was willing to die.

The fact that we wont ever get a third is something that will forever haunt me

Getting back on this game after years is crazy. Enemies just been waiting in the queue

One of the greatest game mechanics ever created and we will never see it ever again

8:15 I once had, and no, I’m not joking, 6 separate captains all betray me in the same battle, all of sudden, one after another, showed up and betrayed me.

Warner Bros knew exactly what they were doing when they patented this mechanic. Its an utter shame they never used it again.

The comment about the difficulty is so real. I was too efficient playing Shadow of Mordor so when I got to the ending and I faced my "nemesis" I was like WHO?

A little correction about The overloard not changing anything but asthetics,

Depending on the tribe, you can find diffrent "accesesories" around the fort, for example: the Feral tribe gets a slain vyvern that acts as bait for a live one, the outlaws get a treasure pile, the Sloughter tribe gets meat grinders and so on

Apparently the cancelled Wonder Woman game was gonna have the Nemesis System, which isn't actually a comfort now that I read it.
