you had to pause before saying "fiction" ,bcs you realize that its happening right now

it would indeed suck to live here.

My favorite is infamous. Infamous 1 you got a government quarantine powered by martial law forcing you to stay in a dangerous environment full of gangs, crime, and destruction, infamous 2 you got an opressive city ruled by a defacto police department punishing those they consider "deviants" and Second Son being a government agency containing people in search of the other super powered people running around.

Ah yes. Fiction.

23:40 interestingly, I have noticed that in Cyberpunk 2077 you can complete the whole game without ever killing if you really want to

I love how the majority of the clips used are just games buggin tf out

Choosing not to cover the Combine Empire from Half Life 2 suprises me, because they are one of the first major video game dystopias. Additionally, they provide a very unique perspective of dystopia, instead of ruling through coercion, propaganda, or desperation, they rule through sheer f**king brute strength. They never try to convince you to become a cog in the machine, they don't need to. If you don't want to starve, you have to join Civil Protection and oppress your fellow humans, or toll away in a factory line. They're practically daring you to just try and resist.

During chapter 8 I'm surprised that the game "Papers Please" wasn't mentioned. During your watch as checkpoint for the border you have to make choices on whether to help your government take down the rebellion, the rebellion overthrow the government, or choose to help neither by running away with family. Overall the video was great and found it to be entertaining/educational. 10/10

Subscribed after the durability joke 10/10 essay

i actually love the questioning of "moral use of violence" here almost everyone is either For or Against violence with no further thought like sheep

1:10 „ROCK AND STONE, BROTHER!!!“ ⛏️

yoo, another banger like always. I used this video to delay working on a college essay but this video has given me the ideas I needed. Now I can make my professor think I am a violent extremist, thank you Bird man

3:45 the clangs 💀

“Who cares?” Me. I asked. I’m the one who asked. Glad to find another dystopia enjoyer. Been hooked since Half Life 2

Mirror's edge has one of the best-looking cities ever and is a favourite of mine

I've always thought it was funny that they still call Delsin a bioterrorist in Infamous second son whether you choose to be evil or not. More about spinning a narrative than describing reality
