When I watched that run by EazySpeezy, I knew that you would eventually react to it lol. Thank you for adding an layer of knowledge to a silly speedrun. I've been watching you for 2 years and I've learned so much about nuclear energy thanks to you. Stay awesome my dude.
Most of my physics professors were veterans of the Manhattan Project. One of my professors who had worked on the hydrogen bomb (this was years before any information on the design had leaked out) got a little too enthusiastic about his lecture one day and got deep into the physics of thermonuclear weapons. After a while it became clear that he was spilling what were then secrets about the Teller-Ulam design. I think we all tiptoed out of that lecture, aware we heard what we shouldn't have heard.
A few years later a magazine spilled the outlines of the design and what we heard ceased to be secret. But it's still not a backyard project 😂
I mean this game IS realistic in the sense that this ~2 metre diameter ball of mostly high explosives all on its own would kill you and flatten your neighbourhood.
To be fair, if there ever WAS a singular person who figured out how to build one in real life on their own... I doubt we'd ever find out, because they'd never get a chance to actually prove they could do it.
