The fact that couriway was able to identify the two finalists in his choices based on potential, especially without any friendship bias shows how great of a coach and speedrunner he is.

i just LOVE jumper saying shes going to try "RLY HARD" if you pick her and then absolutely delivering on that promise and then some

@gummy_mbck 10 months ago

what i learned throughout the video

1. jumper was a machine
2. abe went to korean bbq

@starshield2075 11 months ago

Let's all respect a Abe that man should have been opening pokemon cards from the start😢

@Nabium 10 months ago

Jumper won and Abe got to go on a Korean bbq. I'm happy for both of them.

W COACH. Yall sooo deserved the win! You've brought a monumental amount of pride to the speed-running community in these past few years, and the amount of work you've put into coaching really shined throughout Mid-Offs! I feel like MCSR & Ranked have been one the pillars of Minecraft holding up the entire community in these past few years, and I would be hard pressed to find anybody who's been working harder to see that realized than you. GG!!!

I like how Jumper identified the Housing while Couri was still sure it was Stables! And that she was willing to question her coach also.

I think couriway has a favorite student

1:19:16 Guys can we PLEASE talk about how epic this moment is. The music being cut to Couri teaching Jumper to do something she's never done and to have full trust in him, AND HER EXECUTING IT FLAWLESSLY WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WAS GOING ON???? Absolute cinema. I genuinely got goosebumps lmao

I like how as a coach he accepts when a loss was his fault. Instead of making it Jumpers fault because she’s new, he accepts and acknowledges that he also makes mistakes and bad calls.

This video was incredible

@SamLabbato 11 months ago

that off the cuff pearl hang was INSANE. that pause into the "trust me, trust me, 180, throw a pearl, pause, lower render distance to 5" was so hype

@Th3L0ngQu1et 11 months ago (edited)

Saw Jumper's POV already. Absolutely cinematic tournament, amazing jobs done by all the participants and coaches, I'm honestly really hoping for a sequel to this

Edit: Also, poor Abe lmao

@CHARL3E 11 months ago

elite level coaching when you locked in after her death at 34:32 and when you told her how to pearl hang mid run

1:03:21 having just recently watched Jumper's pov, i find it sweet that neither of them blame eachother for this mishap. Jumper believes it was her fault while couri says it was a coaching fault. These two worked incredibly as a team. Thank you couri for always seeming to keep a level headed mind! I had no idea you were panicking at some parts and the fact you didnt blame jumper for dying in her first round! You are an incredible coach and im glad you take pride in it.

Props to couri for worrying about Jumpers, and Abe's mental, having a live audience could very be hard

@CrymsonNite 9 months ago

Can't believe sub 15 with all those small blunders and she only lost the round because the dragon wouldn't die, literally almost a minute for the dragon to die. But jonnay's dragon trolled him.
