Charlie Watts quietly putting on a drum clinic while everybody else in the band soaks up the spotlight.
 RIP, Mr Watts.

Keef and Ronnie and their "Ancient Art of Weaving" intertwined guitar style...not straight lead, not just rhythm... so, so good.

1978 was a great year for music fans.

Keef, the riff king strikes again.  Richards will never be listed in the pantheon of guitar gods. But nobody writes a better riff.

A little blues, a little funk, a little country, a lotta jams. This has to be one of my top 5 Stones songs. Everything about it is so damn smooth.

One of my favorites back in the day... Still sounds good!✌️👍💯...... The Stones been around for about 60 years!!! And still doing it I believe! Legendary!

Now you've got to get a Girl..With Far Away Eyes...
  Thanks again, men...

It's a Charlie Watts drum clinic that the rest of the guys just danced all over. Great track.

For whatever reason, this was the song my older child always fell asleep with as a baby.  I'd put "Beast of Burden" on, slowly rock and and sing to her, and she'd calm down and drift off.  If being an awesome song wasn't enough, this memory cements it as one of my favorite songs ever.

This song is undeniable. In any setting in America, young or old, everybody will sing along to this one

Some Girls is such an awesome album... Not a bad song on it. Hit Shattered, Far Away Eyes, Miss You Thx!! I loved LA's reaction on Some Girls !! That shit was so funny, keep rocking dudes

great albums from 1978

The riff is all Keith but a lot of the intricacies in the guitar work is coming from Ronnie.  This album brought the Stones into a new musical direction to keep current with changes in the music scene at the time.  I remember when the album came out and thinking When the Whip Comes Down was the only song that reminded me of their previous stuff and I wasn’t 100% on board with this “new sound” coming from the band.  Years later I came to really appreciate the genius of it!

The Stones will always be in my rotation, always

Keith Richards is the greatest Americana guitarist in rock - straight from Britain.

Such a perfect soul/blues/rock song

This is a good way to start the day 👌🏾

When the whip comes down. Respectable.
This is a great Stones album. You need to review every track on the album.

The Stones music is timeless. Glad to see another generation enjoying their unique vibe , there really isn’t any other band that comes close to their ability to venture into so many genres but keep true to their sound . Give Let it Bleed a listen .

One of my favorite Stones jams ...just so groovy
