When ever I see that locomotive I think of that Dads Army when the kings train was supposed to stop at Warmington station.

Thanks for a great review Jennifer ! Slightly dated model, but for under £100 decent price for a 'slightly second-hand' product which runs well.

The LMS Coronation Class, in original 'streamlined' form, were, in my opinion, particularly unattractive locos; but of course, different era, different tastes in fashion !

My one was the Coronation with three Coronation carriages!! She was in Crimson Lake she lasted me four years prior to DCC Sound fitted locomotives!!

I have the original set of loco and three, bnib. I think it had the usual oval of track with it, I don't recall, It is well-buried at the moment while track renovations continue.

Love the LMS streamlined loco. Especially Duchess of Hamilton in Crimson lake livery. Saw her at York magnificent.

Have 3 of them 6220 Coronation, Duchess of Hamilton 6229 in LMS red and 6241 City of Edinburgh war time black 3 nice bargains second hand but tbh I prefer them without the streamlining

Does look awesome when paired with a full set of the matching coaches. I have the most recent released but also the early 2000's versions with the older coaches in both the blue and the crimson. I know the crimson coaches were "what if's" but it would be lovely to get these for the most recent full set coaches.
