"Resides in high altitude areas" he says as a bazelgeuse dive bombs in underground areas while I'm fighting diablos

Psshh, we all know whos the real 'invader' is
Bullfango, the Invader of Personal Space

His nova attack could also be a reference to the betelgeuse nuke test

many friends of mine still can't accept that Beetlejuice is equal to Jho. sad

Bazel is such an awesome Monster. I really hope becomes a staple like Rajang or Deviljho and keeps on showing up in future games aswell.

Ive never seen how fast those scales grow back before, that explains why it always seemed like they just suddenly were back whenever you hunt them.

the idea of bazel's fire breath essentially being napalm spit disturbs me.

"Instant dungpod".
Yes.

I had another theory that the name was partially chosen because of "Beetlejuice", in that if you say his name 3 times he appears and bombs the crap out of you.

Had my first ever run in with Bazelgeuse yesterday. I was playing World and just began High rank, so I decided to explore the Wildspire Wastes. I began finding new monsters tracks that lead to the Wildspires and found it minding its own business before flying to a different part of the map, so I gave chase. Long story short, I couldn’t kill it, but I was laughing and grinning the whole fight, even as I kept getting carted.

Why? Because this wyvern was just pure chaos incarnate. It was hilarious watching my character dive out of the way of the blasting scales and its dive-bombs and I had this feeling Bazelgeuse was more freaked out by me as I relentlessly chased it down despite the number of times I was carted and getting its tail chopped off.

Bazelgeuse look like a dragon in the serie How To Train Your Dragon and his theme increase this feeling

I'd like to think that Seething Bazelgeuse is just a Bazelgeuse that is going through it's mating season and thereby protecting it's young. This makes sense to me as to why it is no longer nomadic and is much more deadly.

Such an iconic monster. It’s model, theme song, everything is on point

Could you do tobi kadachi?, he’s not as popular as other monsters but he’s an interesting one

0:07 DIVE BOMB!

And Seregios? Bazel ... Seregios... you know... when a giant dragon momma and the giant dragon papa love each other so much...

Bazel always makes me kill him when i fight Barroth 💀

I'm just waiting til they post about everyones favorite thunder puppy,  Zinogre.

Bullying other monsters with it on my side in stories feels good.
