Fun fact. Heath Ledger INSISTED that Christian Bale actually throw him around in the interrogation scene. Those punches and him getting his head slammed into the glass was REAL...

harvey dent is two-face in the comics, hero turned villian .. he foreshadowed his own arc in the beginning with the living long enough to see youself become the villain line

Katie Holmes was going through a traumatic divorce and child custody case at this time and pretty much left acting. That is why they had to recast Rachel.

Fox didn't resign. His name disabled the system destroying the possibility of it being used again. Bruce knew it was wrong.

31:22  Here you have a perfect analogy of how the Joker operates. You think you are the one making the choices, that he's just crazy chaos, but he's actually already planned around it. If you look at the gun, his finger is on the hammer, holding it in place, even if Harvey chose to pull the trigger, nothing would happen.

“Tell your son everything is gonna be okay. Lie, like I LIED”. Such a freakin’ barrrrr 🔥 Batman’s biggest strength has always been how great his villains are! 👏🏾

Fun fact: the "subtle" car Bruce was driving was a Lamborghini Murcielago, which is "bat" in Spanish. Very subtle indeed. BTW, the watch Dent was wearing has two faces.

One of if not the best superhero movies ever

The “id like to turn my head” was a meta joke to the Michael Keaton Batman suit  where famously couldn’t turn his head and would use his whole body to look around

Him clapping for Commissioner Gordon is improv…an absolute masterpiece.
Everything you think you know or is cool just goes up a notch. He told Bale to kick his ass in the interrogation, the hospital when he turns around was a real malfunction with the demolition  and his reaction was him in character, Heath put on his own makeup which is why it’s under his nails and fingers.
Just can’t be matched R.I.P

Definitely why Heath got an Oscar.

5:40 so for me, the perfect version of batman’s voice is gonna be Kevin Conroy. He makes Bruce and Batman sound so different that even with his very recognizable voice, I feel they have a prominent enough difference to suspend my disbelief. It’s not just the voice but the intonation, Bruce speaks with a smile, batman with a scowl, and it reflects in how the voice picks up. Theres a scene in the animated series where Batman takes a call and speaks as bruce, and it’s actually kind of jarring hearing Bruce’s voice from batman. Also, Conroy in Arkham knight is genuinely terrifying, there was one spot in the game where I genuinely jumped out of my seat he startled me so bad!

“You either die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” I still quote that line all the time, it’s really pretty accurate.

You die a hero or live long enough to see yourself the villain is one of the greatest movie quotes ever. The directors brother came up with it and besides anything ledger says this is the most memorable line of the movie

Also because it was a common misconception at the time, heath was not a method actor he was an incredible actor who had the ability to actually act rather than just become the person. He was just heath off set. What a fuckin legend, to go from such an incredible awe-inspiring and immersive portrayal of an iconic character back to just a lovely guy called heath is so much more impressive.

Alfred doesnt need help, alfred is  former sas, and is very good at taking out the trash

It's crazy how no one realizes that in a way it was Batman who killed Rachel...Joker admitted to him in the interrogation that he thought he WAS Dent, but because of Batman's little rescue/capture attempt, Joker confirmed he WASN'T Dent, but that Batman was also in love with Rachel, so all he had to do was switch the addresses on the fly to destroy Batman...

cant wait for the next one bro , i used to be so obssesed with this film as a kid bro tht opening scene is hands down so fire

the wanting to be able to turn his head is a nod to micheal keatons batman where he suffered a neck injury and couldnt move his neck in the batman suit

"Here, we, go..."
