35:18 Yeah Indian weddings have sooo many pre wedding ceremonies/ events based on what specific culture its from. There are engagement, mehendi, sangeet (a event where people sing & dance), haldi (where turmeric is applied to bride & groom)....then the actual wedding....and later there can be a wedding reception/ party.

52:07 Indian education system is pretty much exactly what you see in the movie, maybe even worse. The pressure of expectations from the society and the responsibility on the children’s shoulders to be filial sons/daughters forever is absolutely unimaginable.

3 Idiots such a MASTERPIECE
Seeing it since childhood and this movie still touch my heart
I recommend you "Taare Zameen Par" Such a WONDERFUL movie you will love it has same actor of 3 Idiot (Amir Khan) but main actor is a child you should watch this MASTERPIECE
And also "DANGAL" you will love it

In the Indian culture the brides family gives dowry to the grooms family. But you’re right, there are different cultures in the world where this tradition is opposite; especially the Greek culture
