Fun fact: while City Walls can be considered the final song/video for the lore, Intentions can be considered a Marvel post-credit scene telling us the story is not really over.

City Walls: "this is the last time that I try"

Intentions: "I am starting all over once again".

And thats why heavydirtysoul starts at end, because everything will happen again (but noticing the black paint in the characters face in the videos, you will realize things got just a little better at least).

Honestly, for first listen, this rating is quite solid, because when I first listen to this album, maybe I would have a same rating, but, as the more I replay this album, the more I love this album

The sounds from the end of City Walls is actually the intro to Heavydirtysoul! Lore significance there.

Also something I'd like you to check out, there's a very fun surprise if you play "Intentions" backwards. It sounds MUCH closer to Truce than I first thought.

I’ve seen an interpretation of Robot Voices which I prefer than what genius said there,

That the “robots” and “machines” in his room are his instruments,

and that he spends time with his instruments, who he writes songs with, which reassure him of his love !!

1:22:01  you literally heard him singing in drum show XD

His solo album has some top tier incredible songs.

Rating Days Lie Dormant the same as One Way and Tally? Ain't no wayyyyy

The scissor sisters would still be a sound comparison for high notes etc but the song you referenced was Grace Kelly by Mika haha

I think Downstairs is so underrated, one of my favorites!

FINALLY BEEN WAITING

Great reaction!
Downstairs is my favorite on the album! Center Mass is my number 2.

i mean you could still react to no phun intended (tyler’s album from when he was 17) and regional at best

Josh Dun sung the bridge in Drum Show. You missed it!

Drag path offers a proper ending to the story.

It's pretty impossible to even kind of grasp the lore with the songs alone so don't stress about that. Great to hear you will be doing a separate lore journey! |-/

Thank you for this journey!

It's not a good ending, but it's the right ending. A fairytale ending would have undermined the message, imo.

I saw him crying at the end

im pretty sure the ending of city walls is the start of heavydirtysoul but i might be wrong
