This is one of those games that are very fun in the moment to moment gameplay, but when I think about playing it I just feel exhausted

Their game had the trajectory most devs can only dream of but they let it go to waste to work on something else

@chaoticneutral783 1 month ago

the lead dev was made CEO of Nexon NA and said later suckers

@megapeebs2631 1 month ago

They really snatched defeat from the jaws of victory doing that holiday break

the first few months man, they were special

The finals was perfect foreshadowing to how the Arc Raiders life cycle would look like. Devs make a really cool concept for a game and actually execute, but don’t have a single idea or don’t care enough to maintain it at all

The thing is PVE players, generally, want nothing to do with PVP, so it was either ABMM or the game would've naturally become PVP only, in time.

It’s like the devs just got rich and fucked off

Really well thought out video, I couldn’t believe you only have 4k subscribers when I checked! Quality is great, keep it up Man. Just subbed!

the cycle frontier died so arc raider can follow in its footsteps.

Yelling “please don’t kill me I’m gooped” has become the quickest way to die

Half the problem is obvious in the comments here.

“I want pve”
“I want pvp”

Only one of those groups loses their minds and tries to discourage the other. If you opted into pvp lobbies there’s no excuse for bitching; you know what you signed up for. Seems like the most obvious solution but people who don’t like fair pvp are the ones shrieking “you bought an pvpe game, deal with it!”

The late join in that happens after the game starts also destroys flow. The devs are making objectively bad decisions that everyone can agree are bad.

These are EXACTLY why I quit, after 250 hrs. They went against their own design philosophy.

I cant belive i stumbled upon this, Ark raiders was like a fever dream filled with long nights of raiding w friends but man for such a small creator your content was amazing and i really found all your opinions valid but seriously keep up the amazing work and legendary refresh pull

Arc raiders fumbled so hard. How hard is it to release good cosmetics and some new weapons and maps.
It's always like. new update: "new arc that blows you up like a nuke...and it's windy outside... alright see you in 3 months "

The made a game that appealed to the casual player and failed to follow through. I no longer play.

Crazy how people don't recognize that the tension of not knowing if the other person in the abandoned warehouse is hostile or not is where the fun come from 😂

You think you experienced a cheater every 20 games lol, imagine all the ones that don’t do PvP in your match. I could go 20 matches without doing any PvP and on the 20th match I decide to go against the matriarch and bring an epic gun just to get killed by a cheater. Point is, cheaters are in every match and they don’t attack you if they don’t see that you have good gear.

400 hours here. Gave up on it months ago. They captured lighting in a bottle with how they did PVE, then largely ignored feedback from a dedicated user base that simply wanted them to build out PVE fully or make so-called "PVP" optional. I have thousands of hours in PVP games that actually do it well. I don't need another that does it poorly. And no, hiding in the extract isn't PVP. It's not tactical. It's not even camping. It's a design flaw users tried to warn them about for 6 months.
