OK OhSnap, You Got Me. The SnapGrip Stand Is Great.

The Purple Room

This channel has somehow given the impression that we don't like OhSnap. We do. We really do. And the new SnapGrip Stand is exactly the kind of thing I want them to keep making.

Strong magnets, a sturdy stand that doesn't wobble, surprisingly fast wireless charging passthrough, and finally a grip that's actually comfortable to hold. After the Grip 5 saga and the EMCON review that apparently made everyone think I'm out to get this company, I am genuinely happy to tell you: this one is worth your $50 (and OhSnap has a ton of sales).

Buy it. One of my easiest recommendations yet (just go to https://www.ohsnap.com I don't even have an affiliate link!)

As tested on:
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Plus who doesn't love their commercials. Their commercials are basically the best, I always watch them when they come up on my feed despite having seen them before, haha.

Have you used an OhSnap product before? What was your experience, I'd love to hear from you! 😀

This is an excellent review with the combination of strength tests, electrical measurements, and handling the phone in aggressive ways to demonstrate the meaning of those numbers!

I love my oh snap stand I can't stop showing it off. I've showed it to all my buddies and one by one they're buying themselves one. Worth every penny. I just wish there were more colors.

Love my Snap 4, somewhat disappointed with Snap 5. Glad Snap Stand is good. Only thing I've seen overall is that switching from portrait to elevated landscape mode can be difficult without removing the stand.

Also, while adhesive isn't ideal it was what made using the 4 so great. It stuck to near everything and did not move. Guess I can use adhesive with the Snap Stand.

The huge problem with these phone grips is the fact they charging 40 and over for these things that really shouldn't be that expensive.

Think I am going for this for my Samsung Galaxy Z FOLD 8. TY Purple!

I wouldn’t trust the snap-in locking mechanism because it can wear out over time and eventually won’t snap back into the flat position. The PopSockets low-profile design is better in this regard because it uses a magnet instead of a mechanical locking mechanism.

I want it sooo bad but they don't sell it in Europe😢

I also got this one with the stand. Out of my close to 20 grips. The ohsnap has been my go to one. Because I don't have to remove it to use it on a magsafe holder I have in my car. And to wireless charge it also doesn't have to be removed. And the magnets are stronger than most other grips.

Have you ever tried OhSnap's phone cases? Can't find a proper review of it anywhere for the 17s.

hello, i just bought ohsnap grip stand , violet, this color y from version 4 o version 5?

@CallMeTonyga 2 months ago

I bought 1 after this video. Only issue I am having is that sometime it doesn't stick to gym machines or slick fridges but can stick to metal door frame hard.

I really disliked whichever ohsnap I purchased at best buy, but this updated one looks more in line with what I would want. Currently, the Nilkin is my favorite grip for the Z Fold 7.

I had very high hopes for this grip stand, but it has lost the most important feature. While the magnets hold extremely tight to the phone, the magnetic portion to place the phone on a metal surface is now so weak and due to the extra weight of the stand it just slides down or falls off the surface you place it on. I had the most recent ohsnap grip on my phone prior to this one and it would stick very well and secure to magnetic surfaces. I have the ohsnap car stand and now with the new grip it just falls off even without hitting a bump while driving. I love the new stand and think it’s amazing, but may have to go back to the old one because this one doesn’t hold the phone secure to any surface now.

Compatible with Otterbox Defender case? Non magsafe, for S25 Ultra (tho the website says it can add magsafe capability?) it looks perfect and super cute!
