Just got the snapgrip stand and it is really an amazing grip stand. The EWA Plate grip stand is also fantastic and I would say comparable , as well as being just round and not having that little leg sticking out. But the charge through is the nice part of the oh snap. Hit or miss on that with the other ones I've used

This is exactly the video I needed. I've been really wanting a z fold 8, but losing a magsafe stand like this one was a deal breaker for me. Happy you found a solution!

I got the uag monarch mag2 grip stand, dual side magnetic, you can clip your phone anywhere metal and in the car too

Yeah still looks very unstable but thanks for showing i did think about flipping to fit but way to unstable when unfolded to use from My viewing perception of this video. For me I think that hinge stand is what will work best

@Lifeisntthesame69 2 months ago

It took you this long to figure that out?

@warrenrobinson9654 2 months ago

For me the real task with this or any other stand is: can you work on a document? In other words can you be touching and typing all over the screen without it tilting over? That was the test I used with my Z Fold 7. Not that many cases or stands could pass that test but I would love to see someone try it.

Benks, the actual company of the case you have on the Z Fold 8 actually makes a better magsafe pop socket that even rotates unlike the oh snap one you're using that matches the case. I have one on my Z Fold 6 that works great! Give that one a try instead 👍

Dam idk if this will work for the iphone duo since camera is not vertical like this phone

i’m excited about getting my fold 8 but I’m not liking the way android apps are optimized for it at all. I'm seeing so many people are having issues with apps on the fold 8 like apps for editing videos, or other social media app apps. I'm still not sure I can live with zoom.

Also update your other video where you don't recommend the snapgrip stand.... I just got lucky and stumbled over this. I equally didnt think about flipping it over
