Kagurabachi is such a special case to me because it’s meme origins of greatness actually turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I feel like we would have so much more examples of this if publishers really allowed the audience to sit with the story for a bit.

I can’t believe it all happened because $50 and a lighter.

I’ve been a believer since day one, can’t believe how good it turned out

The smelting mini arc is the best piece of this manga for now ngl, how they made something mundane feel so emotionally weighted is beyond me

The rise of Kagurabachi is almost undeserved, but definitely earned. The meme culture kept it alive long enough for the author to prove that he can write straight GAS for multiple arcs. For a battle shonen so fast paced and amazing choreography, I'm surprised he was able to write such amazing characters tackling such heavy themes at the same time.

I had no idea kagurabachi existed until I saw it at Walmart, I thought “why not, it looks pretty cool” now I’m obsessed, judge me all you want but kagurabachi IS my fav manga series and will prly be my fav anime

This manga is like that trope where a lot of people believed it to be true, so it became true. It's crazy how good it is, and it's getting adapted by Cygames, the studio with gacha money, and is getting directed by the guy who made the Gara vs. Rock Lee fight. You can't make this sh*t up.

Enough time has passed

Kagurabachi was a part of my childhood; I hold it dear in my heart.

Seriously though, I'm glad it's doing well. Memes can be amazing sometimes, but it deserves it; the manga is truly good.

A lot of manga, especially shounen, have trope of inheritance from a previous generation. Kagurabachi is probably the one that has done it the best between the Kiora, Samura, and Kunishige to their respective children. Redemption, forgiveness, and revenge split among the 3 for vastly different yet compelling reasons

Chihiro is one of my favorite characters of any series I've been reading recently, he really highlights the way Hokazono writes his characters. The whole "fresh hatred" line is definitely goody the first time you read it, but more and more it's revealed that Chihiro really is a kind hearted kid, who needs that hatred to be able to continue down the murderous path he's taking. It's the same with Kunishige. At first, I only really saw the "irresponsible" part of him as smothing just played for laughs, but when we learn how he's grown up, his parents abusing him and leaving him with nothing but his blacksmithing, it turns the silly tropes into enchanting parts of his character.

TENOI!!!!!!!!!!

Kagurabachi is incredible. It’s crazy it’s his first manga because it feels like a very streamlined, focused, well paced story from a veteran story teller.

It’s so fucking good.

Kagurabachi going from something people mocked cause the premise and initial promo image looked like the most generic garbage ever to being one of the most hyped and popular new battle shonen with some interesting and well handled (so far) mature themes like the effects of generational trauma and the ramifications of COMMITTING A GENOCIDE is wild to me. Like, I did not expect Kagurabachi, a manga I can only describe as “what if Oppenheimer’s son was John Wick seeking revenge on what is later revealed to basically be The Court of Owls from Batman for killing his dad and stealing his nukes” to touch on those subject matters the way it’s done. It’s insane how good it is.

1:54 id say daruma changing for the better and being killed, immediately leading into sojo VS chihiro, was pretty special in terms of structure. It was so unexpected from start to finish

I've been a believer since very early on and I'm so happy Kagurabachi has been getting its flowers. Also Samura's arc is truly one of the most incredibly rich and well written arcs in any shonen manga and reading the sword bearer assassination arc weekly was so insane.

I read Nito Excorist, it died, Kagurabachi remains

I read Hope you're happy lemon, the ending sucks, Kagurabachi remains

I read Dandadan, I dropped it at the amnesia arc, Kagurabachi remains

I read Chainsaw Man weekly, it was all  a dream, yet Kagurabachi remains

It's always bachi time bros

Kagurabachi is one of my favorite ongoing manga, I love this shit in every conceivable way 💯.

Akemura Soga is the most bad ass mofo I've seen in a while

It's kagurabachin time
