TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The defendant in the alleged defamation case related to the fake diploma allegation, Dr. Tifa, expressed her frustration after the next hearing at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (October 8th).
Dr. Tifa admitted to being furious because she and her legal team were constantly interrupted by the Public Prosecutor during their witness examinations.
According to her, these interruptions hindered the optimal examination of the reporting witness.
Dr. Tifa believes she and her legal team should have been able to delve deeper into the witness's testimony.
She feels the repeated interruptions have hampered the opportunity to reveal the substance of the witness's testimony.
This situation has caused Dr. Tifa to feel disadvantaged during the trial.
She then stated that she will take action if this pattern of interruptions recurs in future hearings.
Dr. Tifa plans to report the trial to several institutions if she and her legal team continue to experience interruptions.
The institutions mentioned include the Judicial Commission, the National Human Rights Commission, Commission III of the House of Representatives (Komnas HAM), the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawas), and the Chief Justice of the East Jakarta District Court.
"And if this trial continues like this, where we are constantly harassed by the prosecutor and ignored, then we will report this trial to the Judicial Commission, the National Human Rights Commission, the House of Representatives Commission III, the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawas), and the Chief Justice of the East Jakarta District Court," he asserted.
Dr. Tifa then emphasized that these steps would be taken to ensure the trial proceeds fairly.
