JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - The trial of Joko Widodo's diploma case once again became tense as defendant Dr. Tifa's team conducted cross-examination of witnesses.
During the trial, several objections arose between Tifa's team, the Public Prosecutor (JPU), and the panel of judges, including questions about the questioning of posts on X's account and the use of screenshots as material for questioning.
The tension continued when the defendant's team requested an opportunity to respond and questioned the limitations of the cross-examination.
The panel of judges then reprimanded the parties who continued to argue and requested that objections and responses be presented according to trial procedures.
At the end of the examination, the judge even asked the party claiming the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) to identify the articles on which they based their objections.
