This was by far my favorite baseball game and just one of my favorite Nintendo games period.

I agree. Good sports games don't need 3D, or this wild fixation on special "moves/attributes". Gameplay, gameplay is key.

This and techmo bowl were the only 2 games my dad was able to play with me.  And we played them all the time.  God I miss my dad.  This unlocked some great memories.  Thank you.

This game was available from Oscar Mayer for something like $9.99 and a bunch of UPCs. Needless to say, we ate a lot of bologna sandwiches that summer.

Little League Baseball is probably one of my favorite baseball games ever. I played the hell out of it, and still fire it up from time to time.

Man this is a blast from the past. I played baseball every summer but one summer i broke my leg and had to be inside all summer. My mom brought this home for me to play and holy shit did i ever 😂😂

I spent hours playing this game. Texas was my favorite team. 😊

Baseball Stars and Little League are my two favorite NES baseball games, and I was lucky enough to buy both the copies I grew up renting from the video rental store when they sold their NES games eventually.  My biggest gripes are that they didn't make Taipei very strong in the game even though they were the powerhouse at that point (sure they were cheating with older players but the game wouldn't know that in 1989) and also Saudi Arabia wasn't on there despite being in the tournament regularly during that time with basically a fifth American team from the military bases.  But I have managed to win the tournament with all 16 teams, some much harder than others like Italy, and requiring a pretty lucky draw of opponents.

It is an air raid siren just like the one they play at the beginning and end of every game at Koshien.

didn't know about the Japan version.  great find

I may have played this game more than any other as a kid.  It is without a doubt the best baseball game on The NES.

Other good baseball games - RBI Baseball and Bases Loaded

Dude I'm 45 years old now..... Me and my buddies used to have tournaments on this game.... What great memories!!!

Such a classic takes me back simple life

This is the only baseball game on any console I threw a no-hitter on. Great game.

Always loved "Legends of the Diamond" on nes as a kid. Getting to hit as Ruth etc back then was awesome

Little League Baseball and Dusty Diamond were my favs.

This one brings back memories! We played the snot out of this game! This one and on SNES Ken Griffey Jr baseball, were the best.

This is the first and only Little League video game ever.

I like Little League. It almost feels like if they ported Baseball Stars Professional from the Neo Geo to the NES. Good stuff.

Finally. My favorite childhood game.

this is the true king of nes baseball games.  ive sunked waaaayyyyy too many hours into this one throughout the years.  and i'll continue to do it. this game just did it right.
