tip for the passthrough, you can double click the steam button rapidly to go instantly into passthrough mode

Eyes do naturally jitter back and forth all the time, and it's hard to get them to move smoothly without tracking a moving object. Your fovea is tiny, and it's where the majority of your vision happens.

I hope that future modders that build expansions for the Steam Frame's bottom port will include a port on their mods so that the mods can "Stack." that way you don't have to choose between color passthrough OR face tracking, you can have both.

The new beta update actually made it so my screen goes black when using the frame because the proximity sensor doesn't detect my face anymore due to the frame being pressed less firmly against my face. Started after getting the ergonomics kit, for some people it happens when using the spacer as well.

Dominant eye, didn't even know that was a thing. Makes sense though, found an easy test, focus on an object some ways away and make a triangle with your hands with the object in the center. Close one eye after the other, the eye which keeps the object centered is the dominant eye. Obviously it was the right one.

I'm in love with this thing. Was blown away when I found I can remote desktop and SFTP into it from PC to its desktop. This is my 2nd VR set (have a Vive Cosmos) and it doesn't hold a candle to the Frame.

I ordered it on 22.09 and got a purchase email for 1 TB. They wrote that delivery would take 6-10 days. This is my first VR, and I have a large library of games on Steam. I'm very happy. I'm glad that there will be more possibilities in the future. Thanks for the info.😘

For those with the audio drop out like I very much do the fastest way I’ve found to fix it is to click the restart steamvr button in the bottom left it just restarts steamvr instead of the whole machine and saves a few seconds each go lol

I'm glad to see the progress we've had already before I've even received the damn thing. I'm excited for the mustache, whenever we get it. It will just be a little annoying switching between the camera and it.
