Originally, I had planned for this video to be much longer. There was entire second part of the video exploring a full what-if Assassin’s Creed game where we walked through its story. But I eventually realized this video needed to stay focused on the lore itself, rather than becoming a what-if or dream project...so that part had to be cut :(. That’s also part of why this video took longer to finish than I expected. Hope you enjoy it!

Poor Edward. He died and his entire brotherhood joined him

This makes whatever the frye twins did sound even more impressive than most people give them credit for. It was only until the 1800s where assassins purged the British templars and took control

Its crazy to think Haythem found out Reginald killed his father, sold his sister into slavery, possibly caused the death of his mother, and lied and manipulated him his entire life, yet he still stayed with the Templars. But, I guess I understand why, he was a Templar his whole life, and he was manipulated into beliving into their ideals.

I'm surprised nobody talks about this since this affected every game after (unity, syndicate, chronicles, and more)

So Reginald Birch was basically Palpatine

I’d love a game where we’re a Templar turned assassin. A reverse AC Rogue. Edward doesn’t really count because he didn’t fully understand the conflict and was more into getting paid at the time until the very end.
But a Templar who was probably tricked into thinking the Rite were gonna save the world, ends up meeting a contact connected to the Assassins.

The British brotherhood was basically rodrigos but with never losing their edge or over-reaching

So, basically, the British Brotherhood just experienced the 2000s Purge after Edward and Miko were killed. Their powerful influence has just been reduced to a hidden cell in the countryside, Crawley, likely similar to the Desmond family's location on The Farm and only reduced to while Templars such as Crawford Starrick are predecessors of the Abstergo in the 19th century Industrial Revolution. Different is Daniel, the cause of the 2000s Purge. At the same time, Reginald Brich was a real menace back then in his prime, responsible for moulding Haytham into his enforcers and a herald of the Templar and, unofficially, the Grand Master of all Templars across the globe, except in the Ottoman Empire, where he only did business with them. Still, as he gets older, he focuses on the Precusus Site of Eden, thus losing the trust of his Templar fellows, who once idolised him, such as Edward Braddock. Much like now, Abstergo are losing its ground battle against the Assassins after Desmond financially broke them since they do not have Eden to launch their project with their satellite.

My biggest wish with this franchise is to be able to go back and experience it all for the first time again lol.

Awsome video as always WaKy, I love these lore dumps a ton, its so interesting to me, and it also makes me relize how much missed opportunity these games have, but tbh, I still enjoy the lore.

The one who takes London controls the world - Henry Green

Damn… They ripped up the Assassins order like a tin can, Eyes were everywhere because all tactics were both assassins and templars to where hide in plain sight could not work because they had all the information and able to use a third party to eliminate all the assassins without the need of being dirty and no breadcrumbs to follow

I always thought that the brotherhood died because Edward didn't get the time to prepare his brotherhood to carry on without him. Miko couldn't keep up with the  Birch killings and moved the Assassin's out of London

I would like to learn more about the British brotherhood.

If Black Flag: Resynched works out well, I can imagine Ubisoft recycling a lot of its assets to create a Tudor/Elizabethan game set during Queen Elizabeth's reign. We could see events such as her coronation, the rise of the Templars with Mary Queen of Scots, the various plots against Elizabeth as well as the Spanish Invasion with the Armada, as well as visualising the involvement of the British Brotherhood (at this point at their peak) directly intervening in, and preventing, the regicide plots

I envision an entire England map with established cities such as London, York, Bristol, and Newcastle - as well as a naval map containing the English Channel, and the Bay of Biscay for plundering convoys and fighting the Armada. You could ideally return to England seamlessly via your ship, docking in London upon the Thames, or further down in Southampton and, of course, Dover too, as well as inuding northern ports such as Kingston upon Hull, or Boston. It wouldn't require too much effort. They could recycle the England map from Valhalla and improve the landscape and terrain to include those aformentioned cities and ports.

It would be a massive opportunity to flesh out only prior to mentioned characters such as Sir Francis Drake who has only appeared in reference in Black Flag, as well as further historical influences like Walter Raleigh and the all important, William Shakespeare.

I imagine it aesthetically looks very similar to the Ezio trilogy, with tightly packed cities with humongous churches and Minsters, with the gorgeous British countryside in-between cities.

Mastermind behind Every Assassin's Purge

We actually have a list of assassins from the British Brotherhood in a list who may have been active during Birch’s Purge. Rebecca accessed the files in the modern day cutscenes.
