Another suggestion for cue point labeling is to use negative numbers. I'm a fan of beats, so my cue points would be labeled -32, -16, 0, where 0 is a "point of interest" (start of the song or otherwise). I couple this with stored loops, e.g., 32-beat (8-bar) loop between cue point -32 and cue point 0.
I set matching cue points, i.e., cue points I can jump to from another cue point without messing with the energy of the music, using the same colour.

my personal tips: colour code it!!
for example:
red = intro 8 bar
green = intro 4 bar
blue = loops
purple at the start = count for radio edits like 1 bar, 1/2 bar (write it in the cue)
and so many other colours, just gotta get used to your favourite colour and you don't have to keep looking at your laptop

I learned to count music in the school orchestra, for us 4 beats (or whatever the time signature is) was called a measure, bars for us were the entire line of measures. Someone at least counting 4 beats as a bar is refreshing, it seems like I always see people using "beat" and "bar" interchangeably and it drives me up the wall lol

A cool trick I use is to set the "1" at the start of the first verse when editing beat grids. Every bar before that is then represented by a negative number. Put a cue point at your "1" then jump back to set your intro cue point and the grid will tell you how many bars to the start of the song.

This is by far the most comprehensive tutorial I have seen. Another recommendation is to have an "Exit Cue" - just a visual marker that you can use to cue in the next song and when to mix in and mix out...Thank you for doing this Nick!!
