you're such a great advocate and ambassador for fighting games, dude. love all your vids. thank you for providing context to why these moments are so hype, it really means a lot.

no matter how many times I see "Fighting game is something so great" it will never get old, it hits every time

I mean this in the best way possible. This video gives me the vibes of when my parents would tell me about things that I wasn’t alive for and what is was like to be there at the time. Keep up the good work 👍

Tokido is so legendary. Loved this.

i was there for evo 2017, and that set was so hype. before that though we were watching tokido when he got sent to losers. he came off the stage, and sat on the floor close to us like 10 ft away. my brother was going to go and say hi to him, but i was like he just lost so let him have some space. i watched him sitting there quietly, and could only imagine what he was thinking. so to see him come back the next day, and win was so awesome. he gave his speech, and then on the big screen i saw james chen crying and i almost started to cry. tokido has that championship mind set that is very inspiring to behold.

JM doing us a solid with the FGC historian role.

Dude that IRL raging demon was sick, how have I never seen that?

Honourable mentions to when Tokido brought measuring-tape to events with him, so that he could determine his optimal player-to-screen distance.

i was like "why the hell is tokido aura farming on my timeline"
but then i realized its another banger jmcrofts video so ofc i gotta tap in

Tokido did explain the Projector Tech in an interview once. He said it did come to him at some point to him in the tournament as he saw the US players getting hype that if he lands a demon while on stage he was going to go for it.

I was at SCR for moment #4, the place went APESHIT as soon as they realized what he was doing.

you missed the CVS2 Evo finals when Tokido roll canceled his way to victory, just cheesing the fk out of Nuki and everyone else.

he learned how to RC Honda head butt before everyone knew how to deal with it and destroyed everyone.

he was my hero lol, known as being the most "play to win" player ever

his CEO 2015 run was actually how i became a tokido fan. dude got in top 8 from losers and just climbed all the way to a title

Honorable mention also to the "I have Mago" shoutout when Gooteks asked him during the same interview about his secret training partner. Tokido just bringing all the tears that day, man.

oh my god tokido's reaction after beating daigo... i can feel the emotion through the screen

I genuinely cried for Punk back then...he was jus a kid, with the world on his shoulders.

But, shit, I cried when Tokido gave his now famous post match speech. LOL!

Before I got SF6, I watched Tokido vs Kakeru at EVO 2023. His CA comeback made me not only want to play SF6 and Ken, but fighting games in general.

This video format is so great and really important for preserving the history of the fgc

My favorite fg player of all time. Absolute dedication in whatever game he plays. There's no one quite like him
