In 1978 I was a Suzuki factory sales rep and helped introduce the conversion from 2 to 4 stroke bikes . At the time a rode a REAL cafe racer : Norton Dunstall  810. ton up!

I like how he used Lucas oil during the build, knowing he'd dump it, but then used Motul at the end.

An incredibly beautiful build. Alongside my '94 GSX-R 1100W, I also have an '80 GS750D in my garage—one I bought brand new back in 1980. I love builds that combine older machines with modern components while preserving the bike's original lines. And the GS series engines—alongside the Kawasaki Z900/1000 engines—are the most beautiful motorcycle engines ever built. 😍 👍 I also envy your technical skills and your workshop. 😉 Best regards from Germany.

I had a 1978 GS750G Suzuki when I was 17 in 1992. You need a set of 29mm smoothbore carburetors.

Only thing I would change is titanium frame, exhaust, taller mid height titanium bars and make it a 2 seater, I'm older.

Really cool build and interesting exhaust design. I was sort of expecting it to be a high scrambler style, but it looks super clean underneath.

Well conceived and executed.  I would be proud of any contribution I made to a build like this.  Even if it was only signing the check,  allowing this project to come to life.

The shape of the frame flows right into the shape of the tank as if it was one, stunningly beautiful!
