Just wanted to say thank you guys a ton for the love on this video. I totally did not expect it to get this many views. I'm 100% working on putting out more videos. I wanna try doing more general gaming stuff, but expect to see more Pokemon stuff in the future as well. Remember to subscribe and check out my other videos if you enjoyed! Thanks so much!

You know this is where Pokémon peaked because it feels like it’s a fan game with too much effort and being too extra given the current state of Pokémon. So many custom and situational art, music, and events.

I saw the title and I'm like yeah I'm watching this, Pokemon White was my first ever game

Pokémon lost its magic when it departed from 2D sprite work.

To answer your question: The King who wore this Relic Crown was the ancestor of N. In the Abyssal Ruins there is a riddle which reveals that the King in the old times had the same name as N: "Harmonia"

beating this game made me cry as a 14 year old. N's speech,  the music, the abrupt cut away to that INCREDIBLE music after he says farewell...man. good times. fantastic video, keep em coming!

I grew up around  gen3-5 and looking back I still feel the most Nostalgic of 5 gen

Pokémon Black/White threw its whole self into giving me an existential crisis about playing Pokémon games, and I will always love it for that.

It’s funny because people hated these games because it CHANGED THINGS, and a lot of people don’t like change. But once you open your eyes you realize change can be good

Pokémon white was my first Pokémon game. It’s still my favorite Pokemon game. B/W2 is also amazing

Yeah, the music of BW deserves a special shoutout,
not only  is it one of the best soundtracks in the series, the way music is subtly weaved throughout the entire region, from the seasonal variations, to having musicians scattered throughout most locations literally affecting the game music as you get close to them, is just beautiful.

Technically Snivy was my first pokémon but 7-year old me didn't know about saving game data, so when I had to restart I decided to go with Tepig, and ever since Emboar is still my favorite pokémon.

Whilst my first game was Ruby, Gen 5 was my true love.

I loved that they were growing the series up for those of us who were now older, with Hilda and Hilbert being 15 instead of 10, more mature stories and themes, and just generally going the extra mile everywhere. It blew my mind when Clay stepped out of his gym, grabbed you by the coattails and fought Team Plasma

I never understood the criticism the old guard hurled at Black and White.

This was the swansong for Pokemon, before it started its long, slow death.

I started with Red/Blue back in the 90s (I am old lol). Then played Gold when it came out, and it may still be my favorite to this day (more specifically SoulSilver), but then I dropped the franchise because it became “uncool” to like around that time. It wasn’t until 2009 when I finally picked Yellow back up again and forgot just how much I loved the games.
In 2011, I finally started progressing through the later generations in order, but it was gen 5 that really grabbed me the most. I actually loved the art style and how you didn’t just get bombarded with older Pokémon that I’ve already caught throughout the previous 4 gens. It was such a fresh sleight and really made me love many of the new Pokémon that were introduced. Then, after beating the game, you all of a sudden get access to all the originals and I loved that. I don’t think I’ve sunk so much time into any game in the franchise and it always makes me super nostalgic to see the art style, the battle animations, hear the music, and just think back to those cozy days playing it.
Your love for it is palpable and like a warm blanket listening to you gush over it.
I really love the videos you’re making and it’s incredible to see such a growth in numbers in only a few months!
Can’t wait to see what the future holds for you ❤️

I come back to this video every few months or so. This game was also my first entry and remains to be very close to my heart.

I love N so much, he’s one of my 3 favorite characters (alongside Lucina from FE Awakening & Morgana from Fata Morgana), I’m glad to see how much you focused on his role in the story & how he is even a bit hypocritical at times. Great video man

Pokémon Black was my first game in the series. It’s hard to put it into so few words but I will forever love gen 5 with all my heart. It’s a lot of nostalgia yes, but the story, Pokémon, mechanics (like season) and world building of Unova are truly one of a kind. They really made something truly special and it will take a lot for Gamefreak to ever top it for me.

Pokémon White was my first Pokémon game, but funnily enough, it wasn’t the first one I finished because of how it stopped working before I got the chance to finish it

The first Pokémon games I’d play and finish were Black, Y, and Omega Ruby though I don’t remember the order I finished them in

One thing I do remember is always wanting to play White again so that I could battle N with Zekrom at my side for the first time, sure this may seem like a minor detail to most but it mattered a lot to me for a while which gave my subsequent playthroughs of Black a tragic element to them

That was until I finally got the chance to buy another copy of White recently and the experience I had playing it made me feel like a kid again even though I already played Black multiple times before it

Best of all was when I finally got to the cutscene where Zekrom awakens in N’s castle, that moment was so magical to me and I was overjoyed to finally have Zekrom at my side, sure N wrecked us with Reshiram’s hyper beams multiple times, but Zekrom managed to win the battle of the dragons after I taught him Dragon Claw

From an objective standpoint, I could say that gen 5 is the best one because of how innovative it was and the many risks it took like making sequels and only having Unova Pokémon in the main story in the first games, but that wouldn’t be my truth

My truth is that ever since finishing Black, I have always held onto the ideal of getting White and finishing it for my childhood and most of my teen years which I have finally reached after all this time

And now that I brought Zekrom to Black 2, I plan on finishing the black tower and on defeating Challenge Mode Iris with him at my side

Pokemon White was my first ever Pokemon Game and lets be real, we were so Lucky to start with such an AMAZING Gen!🙌🏻✨
