I like that you gave all the gym leaders different type Pokémons that are still on theme to what they're about. It wouldn't be an effortless sweep for almost all challenging trainers.

I kinda find it funny that falkner or falkner sr deleted gust on pidgey, as this implies one of them made it to blackthorn cities move deleter with that team.

Or falkner sr is an actually good trainer and he just wanted to troll his son by leaving him his " best " pokemon.

It has a high Attack, it's a Gen 2 Pokemon, and he's married, so that could be his and his wife's dog.

I think Morty's team could have been a creative one. since there's only 2 GODAMNED GHOST-TYPES! His lead could be: Misdreavus (DUH) Then Ariados knowing Night Shade. third a Marowak (since it was a ghost in gen 1, and has an Alolan Ghost-type version), and finally Gengar.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Jasmine used to be a rock type specialist before transitioning to steel type.
Instead of Octilery, Corsola could have been an excellent choice for her since it essentially covers almost all the weaknesses of steel type while maintaining her theme.

Also for Chuck, pinsir and hitmontop both could have been a better choice than granbul since both have fighting type coverage and hitmontop can make use of technician at that point of game without being too weak.

Also with Whitney, Snubbul would be better suited than eevee since Whitney’s whole gimmick is about using pink Pokemon which snubbul is. Snubbul is also said to be a popular choice for girls and women according to Dex entries.

Also it learns Thunder and Ice fang which can deal with totodileand onix/geodude and adds move diversity. Also with intimidate lead it also adds an extra level of difficulty for Whitney.

Finally for Clair,  I think Lapras and Feraligatr both are better picks than Yanmega. Lapras is also used by Iris in her team and it lears substantial dragon moves like dragon dance and dragon pulse.
As for feraligatr, she is a specialist of water dragons. So feraligatr can fit the vibe more. Also it would make for nice comparison with Lance since he also uses Charizard in his team despite being starter mon.

Love your stuff but every time someone revamps Whitney's team and doesn't keep all her Pokémon pink an angel loses it's wings

I remember The Ronin Clan/Ronin Charizard evolving Pryce's ace Piloswine into Mamoswine in his "What If Indigo Champion Ash Challenged The Johto League?" Complete Story. It battle Ash's Magby.

I like the chances you gave to the gym leaders. I think Morty and Pryce might be my favorite once.   Also i love Punisment as well, glad to see it gets used it's a very overlooked move. Great job on the video Rory

I have used Delibird. and early on it's actually REALLY good, especially Hustle and Aerial Ace, all power, no draw back!

It turns out Silk Scarf Adaptability Eevee actually hits Rock types at least as hard with 4-or-fewer PP Trump Card than with Bite!

Bugsy's ace Scyther should be sent out second or last. Because he can start out with Spinarak to use Spider Web or Toxic to make it tricky for the players. But it's still good.

Fuck Yeah! You are back brother. This is an amazing video and well worth the wait. I like all the choices you made here. I am also glad to see you gave Chikorita a few more chances to shine. I would have given Poliwrath a held item to boost the chances of Hypnosis landing, and probably would have wanted Yanmega for Lance, but overall, this video is still a 10/10 for me. I look forward to the eventual fixing the Johto Elite Four and Kanto Gym Leaders and Red, but I also hope that in the future, you consider doing a Fixing Team Rocket Video for HGSS, and a Fixing the rival Silver Video for HGSS.
