I mean, best case scenario if cables could have a built in motor to extend and retract them in theory we could reel it back up in atmo like we're fishing for ore lol that would be awesome
Or a drill drone with just enough thrusters to let it fly out with empty cargo hold and a cargo drone to empty that cargo hold?
Is that feasible?
I know that it's possible to just deconstruct the drill or carry all those resources myself but that seems cheesy.
If you're drilling straight down why not point the drills down? haha
